Hey upper east siders, gossip girl here. Wasn't yesterday a bunch of fun? Well it was for Jenny and her magic tricks. Turns out Ella's planned sleepover wasn't so fun in the end.

Also Stephanie91 spotted Serena and Lonely boy making out in the school yards. Get a room. Well... it is her first real boyfriend so....

" so! I heard on Gossip Girl that you were having sex with Dan out here. In streaming video." Me, blair and Serena sat on the court yard steps.

"Oh, god, Katy and is filmed us?" Serena asked.

"It's all very High School Musical Scandalous. And no? They haven't streamed it... yet." I added.

"I must say Dan has been really nice these past few weeks, well he's always been nice... but he's changed.."

"may I remind you that this is your first real boyfriend, S? In relationships, you talk about stuff." Blair spoke.

The school bell rang, signalling its time for class. Me and Blair stood up in sync, whilst Serena was still sat down eating her apple. "I'll see you after class?" I asked.

"Sure thing! See ya!" Serena smiled.

the day went by, Nate and his Parents had come up to the house for a nice family meal.

"We've celebrated the partnership but I don't think we've given Eleanor her due!" The captain spoke, "this lady is fantastic!"

"Oh well thank you, Howard!" My mom smiled, "more cheese? Have you tried the Humboldt fog? It's quite good." My mom pointed at the table of cheese in front of us.

"Eleanor's right , enough business talk!" Nate's mom agreed.

"Right! let's focus on our families other joint venture, the union of our children. I have to say, every time i look at Anne's finger and see Ella's future engagement ring.. I can hardly contain my joy." The captain smiled, "Ella why don't you try it on?"

"No, thank you, it's all right!"

"Yes, I'd like to see it!" My mom stated.

"Anne, hand it to Blair!" Howard demanded, "they're gonna make such a beautiful couple!!"

Anne handed me the gorgeous Diamond ring, and I placed it slowly on my ring finger.

"That's very pretty!" I showed them my left hand.

Nate could tell I was getting a bit annoyed by Howard and his excitement, so instead he stood up to stop the awkward conversation. " dad, why don't we go smoke those cigars we got huh?" He walked away with his dad outside.

Outside: Nate PoV:

"You have a problem dad.  You're tweaked and embarrassing." I walked outside with my dad towards the exit of the palace.

" don't be over dramatic." Howard sighed.

"No? You've reminded me every day how important this business deal is to you! I mean, you've been selling me out, trying to make it happen... pushing me towards Dartmouth, towards Ella. Dad, you're totally sabotaging it tonight."

"Hey, who the hell are you to tell me! I'm the adult, you're the kid. I'm going back inside." He attempted to walk away until I grabbed his wrist. "Nate let go of me!" I refused to let go, until i all of the sudden felt a hard fist crash against my cheek.

The police ,down the street, came running over to the scene, and helped me back on my two feet again.

"What's going on here?" The officer asked.

"Nothing, he's my son." My dad stated.

"Is everything alright?" The officer looked at me.

"I said everything is fine!!" Howard yelled.

"I'm sorry dad, you need help. Check his pockets while you're at it." I walked away to see Ella, who had a concerned look on her face, and Both of our Moms that look like they've just seen a ghost.

Spotted at 5th Avenue. A father and son showdown. Too bad not all the witnesses can be bought off.

Ella PoV:

"What are you doing??" I ran over to Nate who was about to step into the taxi.

"Going to Victrola. I promised Chuck. It's important to him." He closed the door and walked closer to me.

"I saw your father get arrested. We all did. Why didn't you come to me? I would've listened."

" I've tried, Ella. But every time I try, somethings got your attention. A dinner party.. you know." He sighed.

"Yeah let's talk about that.. while I was always waiting for you to find me so we could actually be together.. you were confessing your feelings and kissing Serena!!" I raised my voice with anger, "I thought I was doing everything right."

"It's not your fault..." Nate looked down at the floor.

" do you love me..." my voice cracked whisky I was trying to spit out them 4 words I have been dying to ask.

No response.

After looking down at the floor in awkward silence, I spoke. "You should deal with your father.. he needs you. You know what... I don't." I looked at him one last time before I turned around and walked away.
