"Are we there yet, (friend)?"

"Not yet."

"Are we there yet?"

"I just said not yet."

"How about now?"

"No."

"Are we thereeeee yetttttt?"

(Friend) takes a breath to compose himself before turning to face (other friend), who is sitting in the back seat.

"(Other friend), for the last time, we aren't there yet."

"Why not? You said we'd be at the cabins soon."

(Friend) gives a look of exhaustion & disbelief before continuing.

"That didn't mean we'd be there in  five seconds."

"What did it mean, then?"

"I meant around five minutes."

"That's boring though."

"Okay? And? I'm not sure what you want me to about that right now. It's not like your complaining will make the five minutes go by any faster."

"Why not?"

(Friend) gives a deadpan face, clearly done with (other friend)'s shit.

"Don't make me pull over the car right now and take care of you, myself, (other friend)."

"Oh? And how exactly do you plan on doing that, (friend)?"

"Sorry to interrupt you two lovebirds, but I don't think Y/N and I want to see you two angry-fuck in the middle of the highway."

I hear C/N's outburst and giggle quietly, nodding in silent agreement. (Friend) groans in annoyance before turning back to face the road, muttering under his breath. A smug grin spreads across (other friend)'s face at the sight, catching my attention. I lean closer to C/N, whispering into his ear.

"They're totally gonna have it out later."

"Oh absolutely."

C/N and I share a small laugh before turning out attention back to our surroundings.

~*mini time skip*~

Before we know it, we're at the entrance of the cabins. (Friend) pulls up to the entrance and pays for our admission, thanking the worker before pulling into the campsite. (Other friend) cheers like a kid who broke the piñata at a birthday party, causing (friend) to clench his jaw with irritation.

(Friend) parks the car in front of our assigned cabin, telling all of us to get out of the car and grab our bags. I step out first, and C/N unlocks the trunk of the car for us to grab our things. C/N grabs my things for me, making me smile and mutter a shy 'thank you'. I take my things from him, waiting for everyone else to grab their items before walking into our cabin.

"Alright, first order of business. Put our things in our rooms so we don't have to do that later."

We all agree with (friend)'s suggestion, all of us separating. I walk down a hallway to the right of the living room, finding an empty bedroom. As I take a look around, I notice that there's two beds, rather than just one.

Weird. I wonder why there's two beds. Oh well.

I walk in and put my bags on the floor with a satisfied sigh. I turn to leave when I see C/N walking into the room.
