C/N POV:
"¡Ese es el final del viaje en tranvía! ¡Espero que hayas disfrutado el recorrido!" (That's the end of the tram ride! I hope you enjoyed the tour!)
Y/N and I get off of the tram, stepping onto the sidewalk on the side of the road. I make sure Y/N is standing on the side facing the buildings, rather than on the side facing the road. (If you know, you know.)
"That was really nice, C/N. I may not have understood a word the guide was saying, but it was still nice to look at everything."
"Mhm. I know we've only been in Barcelona so far, but Spain is really nice."
"I know, right? Barcelona is absolutely gorgeous."
I notice that there's a door opening on the inside of the sidewalk, and Y/N is about to run into it. I wrap my arm around Y/N's waist, pulling him closer to me. He gasps, his eyes going wide as he instinctively leans closer to me.
"Mis disculpas. No vi a tu amigo allí cuando abrí la puerta." (My apologies. I didn't see your friend there when I opened the door.)
I hear the stranger's apology and I smile politely, insisting that it isn't an issue.
"No es problema." (It is no problem.)
Y/N hears my response to the stranger's apology and turns to me.
"What did you guys say?"
"He said that he was sorry, and that he didn't see you when he opened the door. I told him that it's not a problem."
"Oh, okay."
Soon enough, Y/N and I stumble across a cozy-looking coffee shop. His eyes seem to light up at the sight, a smile growing on his face. I suppress a fond chuckle at his excitement, settling for my usual obvious heart eyes, which Y/N seems to always miss.
"Can we go in, please, C/N?"
I can't help but return his smile when I see the joy in his eyes. I nod, Y/N immediately grabbing my hand and pulling me into the coffee shop with him. I walk in with him an the am immediately met with a tired cashier and a line of irritated customers.
I wonder what's going on here.
"And what will you have, Sir?"
"I thought you'd never ask. I'll have the Neapolitan Cappuccino, more cappu than ccino. Make sure it's got no more than four ounces of milk. The beans won't have the right texture otherwise. And make sure they spell my name correctly on the cup. They always put the wrong name and I hate it. And... I think that's about it for mine." (Please tell me someone gets this reference (╥﹏╥) this took so long to type)
"Okay, then what about the order for your other friend?"
The first guy's friend cringes at the question, covering his face with his hand out of embarrassment.
"Alright, he would like a venti traditional misto. Please use soy milk with two blonde shots of accado (I have no clue how to spell it) and ristretto! He'd also love three vanilla pumps at the very bottom, then add the coffee after, then-" (I really really hope someone understands this-)
"Actually, I don't want any of that. I just want a black coffee. Whichever size is the cheapest. Thank you so much."
The cashier puts in the, seemingly, only simple drink from the long-winded order with a sigh and asks the first man for his name & payment. He says his name, and the order is put in.
