Y/N POV:

Tonight is the last performance of C/N and I's tour. The tour has gone fairly well so far, so I'm feeling pretty confident... But I don't think he can say the same.

C/N's really nervous. I can tell. He's been muttering to himself and pacing back & forth in the dressing room for the past few minutes. My eyes have been following his movements, and I can't help but feel worried about him.

I decide to take things into my own hands. I stand up from my seat, cautiously walking up to C/N and putting my hands on his shoulders.

"C/N?"

C/N jolts slightly, but he relaxes when he sees that it's me. He turns around and looks at me with concerned eyes.

"Sorry. I'm sorry, Y/N, I'm just a little nervous...”

C/N sighs, raking a hand through his hair nervously. I nod understandingly before responding.

"I can see why. This is the last show of the tour."

I step a bit closer to him.

"But... I think that this will be our best one."

C/N takes a good look at me, and he seems to forget about his nerves.

"You really think so?"

I nod, rubbing one of his shoulders in a comforting motion.

"Mhm. We'll do great."

C/N leans into my touch, shutting his eyes briefly. When he opens them again, he looks at my with newfound determination.

"You're right, Y/N."

He nods, taking a breath.

"We're gonna nail this."

He gives me a grateful smile.

I smile widely in return and nod.

"Yes we are."

I wrap my arms around C/N in a hug, leaning my head on his chest and trying to ignore the way his smile makes my heart race. He hugs me back tightly, his arms wrapping around me protectively. He rests his chin on top of my head.

"Thank you."

I nod against C/N's chest.

"You're welcome, C/N."

I suppress a soft blush at his shows of affection.

He nuzzles the top of my head gently, his voice muffled by my hair as he speaks.

"I'm glad I have you by my side, Y/N. Both on and off the stage."

I giggle softly and nod.

"Mhm, me too."

I hesitate for a second before deciding to come clean before the show can start.

"Hey C/N–"

"It's time to go onstage for the show. Good luck. Your magic will blow them away, I'm sure of it."

C/N pulls back a bit, looking at me with a soft expression.

"After the show."

He says quickly, before giving me a quick hug and rushing out with me to prepare for the show. I follow him onto the stage, putting on my signature smile once the spotlights turn on.

Once the performance ends, C/N and I both go back into the dressing room together. I smile widely and laugh excitedly, adrenaline rushing through my body as we finally finish the last show. He grins widely at me, relieved & happy that the show went well. He pulls me into a tight hug, spinning me around.
