⚠️MAJOR WARNING: G*N USE/MENTION OF G*NS, MENTION OF DEATH.⚠️
Y/N POV:
The man pushes me back onto the couch with a harsh shove, his gaze cold through the eye holes of his mask.
"Stay here while I get the gun ready. It won't take long, so you won't have time to escape, anyway. Don't even try. I'm sure you can figure out what happen if you do."
The man continues prepping his gun to shoot me, facing the gun case as he puts the weapon together. I wait until his back is turned, and once it is, I silently approach the door to the room. I open it up without a single noise, absolutely booking it out of the room once the door is open enough for me to leave.
The man hears the door opening and instantly turns around. His eyes widen in surprise as he sees me dashing out. He quickly raises the weapon in his hand and takes aim. Before he can pull the trigger, though, his hand shakes slightly, giving me a small advantage at the last second.
When I notice the man's hand shaking, I dive down to the ground with a look of surprise & determination. I end up dodging the bullet with a split second to spare, immediately rushing farther away once the bullet is past me.
The man's eyes widen in shock when I somehow dodge his bullet. He quickly recomposes himself and takes aim again, this time with utmost determination. He pulls the trigger again, but you move again, jumping over a nearby couch and rolling to the other side.
I end up making it out of the building, running away from it as fast as I can to find a spot to hide before the man, inevitably, looks for me.
The man growls with frustration as he watches escaping out of the building. He holsters his gun and gives chase, following me through the crowded streets with a deadly determination in his eyes. He moves swiftly & silently, blending in with crowd as he searches for any sign of me. His eyes narrow as he sees me disappearing into the distance.
Meanwhile, I'm sprinting away to somewhere I'm not familiar with, too focused on the idea of finding a hiding place to realize that I'm getting myself lost. I know that, with my current pace, I will quickly lose myself in the winding streets of the city. I notice him slowing down out of the corner of my eye, taking his time as he searches for any sign of my whereabouts.
I eventually end up in a nearly empty part of the city that I've never been in before, the street and the houses along it looking almost abandoned. I find a well-hidden, shaded area and decide to hide in it, sitting there as I try to catch my breath and regain my composure.
Before long, I start hearing the footsteps of a group of men heading down a nearby alleyway, their intentions clearly not good as they lift the lid to one of the nearby dumpsters and yell my name loudly.
"Shit!"
I hurry out of the dumpster, trying to run away from them as fast as I can before any of them can grab me. Despite my efforts, the group of men surrounds me, calling out my name once again.
I find a nearly empty can of spray paint next to me near a different dumpster and I spray the faces of the other men, using their distraction to flee and find a different place to hide. I mutter to myself in a mix of frustration & surprise as I continue attempting to create some space between the man from earlier and the other group of men also trying to find me.
"For crying out loud, can people just stop trying to chase me down & attack me at least for five minutes?"
I glance around the street, eventually finding a trashcan in the alleyway next to an abandoned house, hiding myself in it, and hoping for the best.
