Ariana:

I woke up after a peaceful sleep, feeling refreshed. Glancing around, I realized I was in my bedroom, though I recalled falling asleep on the couch. Perhaps it was Xavier who carried me here, I was feeling a flush of embarrassment at the thought. He could have simply woken me up instead of going to the trouble of carrying me.

Shaking off the feeling, I proceeded to freshen up, preparing for the day ahead. With the event for the evening, there was much to do. I have to arrive early and check to ensure everything was in order before the guests arrived.

Descending the stairs, I spotted Xavier at the breakfast table, engrossed in his phone while enjoying his meal. His presence stirred a mix of emotions within me, but I pushed them aside, focusing on the tasks that I have to do for today.

""Good morning, Ariana," Xavier greeted without glancing up from his task. I was taken aback – how did he know I had arrived? Did he have eyes in the back of his head?

"Good morning, Xavier," I replied, and at that moment, he looked up, a faint smile playing at the corners of his lips before he quickly composed himself. "Take a seat and have breakfast. Today, I'll drop you off at the office," he offered.

I hesitated for a moment before responding, "There won't be a need for that. I'll take the driver with me," I insisted. After a brief pause, Xavier acquiesced, simply saying, "Okay, I'm leaving." Before he left, he added, "I left the dress in your room. Please wear it for the party."

I nodded in acknowledgment. "Sure," I replied as he smiled and exited the room.

As Xavier left the room, a whirlwind of conflicting emotions swept through me. What was happening to me? Why was I feeling this way? His smile, his eyes – everything about him seemed to hold an inexplicable fascination for me lately. It was as if a veil had been lifted, revealing a side of him I hadn't noticed before.

Just a short while ago, being in each other's presence was a struggle for both of us. There was tension, awkwardness, and a palpable distance between us. But now, inexplicably, I found myself yearning for his company. I wanted to spend more time with him, to unravel the mysteries that seemed to surround him.

Was it possible that my feelings for Xavier were changing? Or was it simply a newfound appreciation for his presence in my life? Whatever the reason, I couldn't deny the pull he had on me, and as I prepared for the day, I couldn't shake the sense of anticipation that lingered in the air.

As I entered my bedroom, I found the dress neatly laid out on the beautiful bodycon red dress on the  bed with a note resting beside it. My heart skipped a beat as I read Xavier's words, addressed to me as his beautiful wife. "To my beautiful wife, please do me the honor of wearing this dress and enhancing its beauty." A rush of warmth flooded through me, and a soft smile spread across my lips.

Taking the exquisite dress in my hands, I marveled at its elegance and craftsmanship. It was a gesture of affection from Xavier, a reminder of the bond we shared despite the complexities of our relationship.

With a sense of gratitude, I carried the dress with me, careful not to wrinkle its delicate fabric, and placed it on the backseat of the car. As I embarked on my journey to the office, thoughts of the evening's festivities danced in my mind.

Time seemed to fly by as I immersed myself in work, but I remained mindful of the approaching event. By 2 o'clock, I needed to be at the venue, ready to honor Xavier's request and adorn myself in the beautiful attire he had chosen for me. Thinking that I couldn't stop my smile forming on my lips.

Immersed in a whirlwind of last-minute preparations for the evening party, I felt the weight of responsibility pressing down on my shoulders. With a sense of urgency, I dashed from one task to another, ensuring every detail and organising everything before I take my leave to the venue.

However, before I could rush off to the venue, I knew I needed to go and inform Xavier. I took a moment to brew a fresh cup of coffee, knowing how much he appreciated the gesture. With the steaming mug in hand, I made my way to his office, where he was engrossed in reviewing some meeting files.

"Xavier, I brought you some coffee," Isaid, stepping into his office with a warm smile.

Xavier looked up from his work, his expression softening at the sight of her. "Thank you, Ariana. Just what I needed," he replied, accepting the mug with gratitude.

"I'm leaving for the venue now," I informed him.

He nodded in acknowledgment, understanding the urgency of her departure. With a final nod of farewell, I left his office, ready to tackle the final preparations for the evening's event.

In the evening, I slipped into the beautiful dress Xavier had given me, feeling a surge of excitement and gratitude. With Angela's help, I was transformed with her makeup skills, enhancing my natural beauty to new heights. As I glanced at my reflection, I couldn't believe the stunning woman staring back at me. Angela's expertise had truly worked wonders, and for the first time, I felt like a vision of elegance and grace.

"Gosh, I'm so jealous of you," Angela exclaimed, her eyes sparkling with admiration. "You look incredible, like seriously stunning. Trust me, you should be grateful that I'm a woman," she added with a playful smirk, and we both shared a laugh.

Admiring Angela's own beauty, I couldn't help but return the compliment. Her blue champagne dress with its low neckline was a perfect choice, accentuating her features and exuding sophistication. Together, we made a striking pair, ready to dazzle at the evening's event.

We are happily chatting with our colleagues after arriving the party and starting waiting for the host the main guest who has not arrived yet.
