Xavier:
After a slow and somewhat tedious dinner conversation revolving around business deals, we adjourned to the living room.
To my dismay, the topic of my supposed engagement was announced. Despite my internal resistance, I refrained from causing a scene. As they continued discussing the potential future of my partner's life if she were to choose to marry me, a defiant thought crossed my mind: "If she's willing to take that leap, then let's venture into the depths of hell together, my dear."
So that it would be, if they wanted " I said, "Alright, keep the preparations concise as I mentioned. After the ceremony, I'll likely have to depart the city for business purposes. Now, if the discussion is concluded, I will be taking my leave."
Without casting a single glance back, I left the room, fully aware of her gaze upon me. There was little I could say in that moment, except to silently warn her to prepare herself for the impending storm of challenges and difficulties that lay ahead.
Engagement Day
On the dreaded final day, which I deemed the worst of my life, I was preparing alongside my close friend, who jokingly remarked, "So, you're finally getting married, huh? Your dream has come true," struggling to suppress his laughter. The mere thought of the situation was enough to make me shudder with apprehension.
I snapped back at my friend, exclaiming, "Shut up! It's enough to make me feel nauseous!" The combination of his teasing and the overwhelming situation had pushed my patience to its limit.
He responded, "Yeah, yeah, well my friend, when are you going to introduce me to My soon-to-be sister?" His persistent inquiry about meeting my fiancée added another layer of pressure to an already tense situation.
I shot him an exasperated and irritated glance, causing him to hastily raise his hands in a gesture of surrender, as if zipping his mouth shut. He understood my frustration and chose to remain silent, at least for the moment.
As we walked out of the room, a sight greeted us: the entire hall and staircase were adorned with exquisite decorations. The ambiance was undeniably beautiful, but the bitter taste of irony lingered in my mouth as I descended the stairs, waiting for my soon-to-be fiancée.Impatience consumed me as the ceremony began. All I could think about was escaping this situation as quickly as possible. However, it seemed as if the lady in question was taking an eternity to make her entrance, prolonging my agony.
Suddenly, gasps filled the air, capturing my attention. I followed the collective gaze of those around me, turning my head towards the staircase. In that moment, my breath caught in my throat as I laid eyes on her. I couldn't deny the truth—I would be lying if I said she wasn't breathtakingly beautiful. Her radiance was so captivating that it evoked a sense of envy in anyone who looked upon her.
Her slender neck was gracefully adorned with a beautiful necklace,(i know she is not wearing in the below pic, but imagine as she is wearing one) accentuating her elegance. The breathtaking sight continued as her perfect-fit mermaid knee length blue dress gracefully hugged her figure, enhancing her natural beauty. The dress seemed to be tailor-made for her, further highlighting her exquisite charm.
