i was working on a project and checking the file when i heard a voice "Busy bee, lets get a coffee will you? from the time you came you are engrossed in that file;" my one and only best friend Mia said .
"hmm ." i just hummed i wasn't concentrating from the morning my mind is big time messed up i don't know what will happen next i said yes but is it correct ? or its stupid , uffff i couldn't tell lets see what life holds for me i thought.
"Girl , are you even listening ?"Mia said again by now she was waving her hand in front of me in almost funny manner , "yeah Mia , lets go grab coffee" i said and kept the file aside .
"Something is bothering you i can tell that , but i will wait until you tell me by yourself" she said and dragged me out, see this is way i love her she never nag me about anything that i don't want to share at that moment , even though in a short period of time i would tell her and share everything with her she will give the moment of space which needed at that time.
"Mia , i said yes for the marriage proposal , but the thing is i'm not sure about it , the guy to whom i said yes to is uncle Rafe's son " i sighed and told to her , her reaction was like she gone choke any moment , shit i could've waited till she finished that coffee i thought .
"WHAT?'' she screamed almost all the tables in the canteen turned towards the noise she made ,oh thank god dad is not on rounds , or else we would've got earful.
"you heard me first time girl, not gonna repeat it'' i replied while rolling my eyes . her eyes are just popping out . i couldn't stop my laugh i laughed by seeing her hilarious reaction and explained her the details .
"oh god, so you are going to be a bride soon girl , that calls for shopppiiiingggg " she shouted again . i said " girl calm down ,please'' while i was talking i got call from an unknown number ,i thought who might be at this time and picked it.
"Hello, we are calling from 'XAV ARCHITECT CORPORATION ' Mr.Knight wanted to meet you at 5:00pm sharp in the Russo Italian restaurant this evening , thank you . she hanged up the call after saying this
i wandered what just happened who wants to meet me , who the hell is this Mr. Knight and why does he specifically wants to meet me and doesn't he taught his employees the minimum manners .
Then it clicked to me isn't Rafe uncle last name is Knight ,that means now the one they are referring to his son , SOON TO BE MY HUSBAND .
