The young girl closed her eyes as Dylan began to trace her sternum. "How does it feel?" he asked in silence.

"I don't know what to feel. And. . . d'you thi-"

"Hey you two, what are you doing?!"

Jo pushed herself away to Dylan pretending they weren't doing something. José grins and holds her hand.

"Let's go home," he said.

They walked home and the young boy led her to the second floor of the house. He hauled her behind the door.

"Kiss me," José demands as he starts to caress her face.

The little girl flinches but stepped forward and―

"Jo! You have a phone call! Gosh, those speakers are killing my ears!" her Mother shouted. "Soften the volume, will you?"

Jo opened her eyes feeling trapped and nervous.

Another sleep terror. Her mind whispered. No to stress. No to depression. Just please.

She clicked off the speaker and answered the phone call.

"Hello? Who are they?"

"Did you already forget me?"

"I wouldn't ask if I know you."

"Mio."

Jo's almond eyes widen with surprise. She bursts out of her room and ran to the field so no one can hear her.

"You still there, Hans? How are you?"

"I'm enough."

"I heard you have a girlfriend."

"So?"

"Nagalaw mo na ba siya? Kung hindi pa, wag mo ng tangkain. Come back to me."

"Tanga."

"What did you say?"

"Don't call me again. It's a shame I'm still talking to you and don't ever expect I'll come back to you! You son of a bitch!" then she hung up the other phone. 'That was Heather's line,' her inner god grins. 'Except the one word there.'

She looked at the wallclock. The time says 7:03 in the morning. She texts Heather.

<<good morning mine :>>

<<tlog sya. jescika to>>

Jo raised her left eyebrow. "Wag mong sabihing hanggang ngayon magkasama parin 'tong dalawang 'to?" she whispered.

<<really?>>

<<wag kna nga magtext sknya. sbi nya break na rw kyo>>

Jo clutched her knuckles. 'What this dimwit were saying?'

<<are u trying to be funny?>>

<<u'll see when she wakes up .. she'll break up with u>>

<<then wake her up now>>

After few minutes, Jo received a group message from Heather mentioning Jescika there: "Why did you walk out?" Jo almost laughed out loud. But yea, she wants to finish what Jescika had just started. She sends a message.

<<break na tyo.>>

Her cellphone rings immediately. Heather is calling. She pressed the answer button but she refrained herself to speak.
