CHAPTER 17

The three of them went to the Gym silently. Jean bade them goodbye because she will be needed on the stage. Jo saw Aila immediately and held Leila's hand as they approached her.

Habang nagsasalita yung President ng COLT-C sa stage, walang pakundangan naman silang nagkwekwentuhan habang si Aila naman ay lumayo sakanila ng kaunti.

"Mabuting bata, nakikinig," Jo whispered.

"Uy best, si Insan pala may asawa na," replied Leila. (What a nice reply.)

Jo raised her left brow. "Ows?" She knows Leila's craziness. She would say "wife" when in fact they weren't still married. For Leila, it's just the same.

"Oo best. That bitch! She's not even pretty. And alam mo ba panay ang tanong sakin nung mga pamangkin niya kung kumusta ka na?"

Jo grinned. She suddenly misses the twins, Mira at Mina. She always take good care of them and carry them in her arms before.

"Tapos best, may naikwento pa sakin si Tita Mila," tinutukoy niya yung ina ng mga bata. "Nung minsan daw na pumunta sa bahay nila yung asawa ni Insan, nasa kwarto daw yung kambal kasama yung babae. Tita heard that the twins were asking the girl. They said, 'Do you know Tita Jo Ash?' Of course, the girl wondered who the hell is that. 'Hindi eh. Sino ba yun?' E palibhasa bata yung mga kinakausap niya. And you know pag bata, honest. 'Ah, yun yung dating gf ni Tito Mio. Alam mo maganda yun parang model. Tapos maputi at mabait pa. Lagi nga dati yun dito eh. Tapos lagi naming silang nakikita ni Tito Mio na magkayakapan o kaya nagkikiss!'"

Jo flushed scarlet. She's glad Leila didn't notice because she still continued the story.

'....when Mio came home, the bitch slapped his face asking who the fuck is you. Bakit daw hindi niya naikwento yun? Si Tita naman tawa ng tawa habang nagluluto."

They chuckled silently when suddenly Leila slapped her arm.

"Ikaw best ha, nakikipagkiss ka na!"

Jo went pale but found her strength building inside her. "Akala ko nakalusot na eh. Hindi ko naikwento yung mga bagay na yun kasi nahihiya ako," she answered.

"Best anong feeling? Masarap ba?" she asked then slapped her again.

"Best walang spark eh! Di ko naramdaman." Then Leila slapped her again.

The meeting ended with their topic that is all about flirting. The President always looked at their direction but they didn't care. They just acted like they didn't hear her.

"Our President is beautiful, isn't she?" Jo asked grinning.

"Yea, but she's not cool like us."

Well, it was just nice being reunited with your bestfriend. The two of them snickered as they walk their way with laughs and giggles.
