SELENA'S POV
I ran so fast into the bathroom, catching my breath as I gripped on to the sink. The tears staining my cheek with no end. I hated him for this and I hated myself even more because of how much I love him. Us yelling at each other brought me back to our relationship, so shattered all the time but both of us unwilling to walk away. Someway somehow I knew we could make it work I just didn't know where to start. I couldn't even fathom trying to work on things because he's married for crying out loud. Does he not know how bad this could be?
I had to go because if I stayed in that room any longer with him, we were both going to end up doing things we shouldn't. I grabbed onto a tissue, dabbing at the streaks on my cheek. I had to make myself presentable again before I went out. Once I felt I hid that I was crying good enough, I went back out joining my friends by the chairs.
"I was about to come looking for you," giggled Camila.
"Sorry, I took long. There was a bit of traffic," I lied. I didn't feel like talking about Justin with her at this time. I just wanted to enjoy whatever the rest of the night had to offer.
By the time the show ended, everyone was talking about the after party. I haven't been going recently to any but tonight I needed a night out. I clung onto Camila's arm as we walked through the crowd at the lounge the after party was held.
"I want to get drunk so bad," she whined against the music.
"Let's do it, I need to feel something." I sighed.
"Are you sure Selena?" She questioned, searching my face to make sure this is what I wanted.
"Yes, now let's go!" I laughed as I pulled her with me to the bartender. Without even asking the bartender handed us a shot along with our drinks, which we took with no problem. We headed to the dance floor, smiling wide as we danced to the music. I felt free for once, not a single care in the world as I flipped my hair in different directions. The music blaring in my ears as my hips matched the beat of the sound. I watched as Camila stared off into another direction as she danced, only to land my eyes on Shawn Mendes. They've been on and off for a while now and just seeing her face I know she missed him so I did the only thing my hazed mind could right now and pushed her forward. She snapped her head back at me with wide eyes and I just smirked.
"What are you doing?" She asked, suddenly getting anxious.
"Camila, I can see it in your body language. Go talk to him, you guys are friends after all no?"
"Yeah but I'm tipsy and I don't want to do something stupid,"
"You won't, Shawn isn't the type of guy to make you feel like that," I pointed out. She looked between the both of us hesitantly. I smiled at her letting her know it's okay to leave me for a while and nudged her forward.
"I'll be right back okay?" She reassured me. I nodded my head as I swung around and continued dancing to the music. I grabbed another drink, letting it consume me while my vision started becoming more foggy. People were coming up left and right, chatting and complimenting me on how I looked tonight. Just as I finished talking with Ashley Benson, I felt a pair of arms hug me from the back. Confused as to who it could be, I looked back to see Orlando cheesing down at me.
"Oh my gosh, how are you?" I said turning around and hugging him. His hand a little further down my back then I would like but the drunkenness that was filling me didn't mind at the moment.
"I'm doing well and you? You look beautiful," he said running his eyes up and down. I blushed as I playfully hit his shoulder.
"Just living my best single life," I emphasized. He raised an eyebrow, licking his lip approvingly.
