**Mincho's Perspective**

"I'm so proud of myself for making such creations. But I feel that you all can still be improved more. So I found a way to add a new trait to each of your souls. For Sans, I will add the soul trait of integrity. Papyrus will get the bravery trait soul, and last but not least, Mincho will get the soul trait of patience. With those new traits, you all will become even stronger. Is that not better?"

Of course, Sans wasn't about to stay silent when Gaster unveiled his grand plans. "Have ya truly gone off'a deep end? What yer're plannin' is exceedingly perilous. Ya simply can't toy with souls the way yer're proposing?!"

Gaster, with a face that could curdle milk, ambled over to Sans. Papyrus and I exchanged anxious glances, worried that Sans might become Gaster's punching bag again.

"Listen here, Sans, don't you dare question me!" Gaster practically slammed Sans onto the table, choking him.

"Please, Gaster, don't hurt Sans! He's just concerned for both of us!" I pleaded, genuinely scared for my brother's safety.

"Just let Sans go! Stop choking him, please!" Papyrus chimed in, full of worry.

"Fine, let's just get this test over with," Gaster grumbled, releasing Sans and dragging in three rather imposing machines. He positioned one over each of our rib cages, with Sans's machine glowing ominously dark blue. Mine and Papyrus's? A lovely light blue and a cheery orange-truly a color palette for the ages.

When Gaster flicked the switch on mine, it extracted my soul like a bad tooth. I glanced at my brothers, and lo and behold, their souls had decided to join the party too.

My machine was the early bird, its syringe eager to inject the light blue liquid right into my soul. The room went dead silent; the kind of silence that makes you rethink everything. I wasn't even trying to chat in our mind link. But quiet soon turned to chaos when I let out a scream that could wake the dead.

In the mind link, I was begging for it to stop, pleading with Gaster to yank out that light blue goo, and then, out of sheer desperation, asking for someone to put me out of my misery. I thrashed against the restraints, trying to escape the agony. When I realized my arms were stuck, I opted for an unconventional tactic-slamming my face against the metal lab table. Gaster held my head down, and despite my struggles, I was destined to stay right where I was-clearly, fate had a twisted sense of humor!

Third person POV

This went on for thirty minutes, but those minutes felt like hell to Sans and Papyrus, who could do nothing but watch and listen to their kind and loving brother scream for death instead of living through the pain he was experiencing at the time.
