"This is not Jungkook's responsibility to keep Tae-"

"Are you fucking with me right now-"

"Sir, let me fin-"

"You, shut up."

Jungkook stares at Taehyung through the door who still hasn't opened his eyes or moved an inch, his eyes are closed as if he is not really there anymore. The argument  between Taehyung's boss, Kim Namjoon and Yoongi are muffled in his ears, the only sound he can hear is the way Taehyung's voice sounded before he passed out while leaning against him, his golden hair sprawled over his chest.

His brain is barely processing, the words he is trying to speak out coming out random, doesn't make sense and he can't hold a conversation, let alone explain himself. When a nurse passes by him to open the door, Jungkook is forced to move away from the door and back to the hyungs who aren't eve trying to hide the fact that they are agreeing that Jungkook shouldn't have been the one with Taehyung that moment.

Yoongi's face is pinched into anger, confusion and frustration. Namjoon's face is only poured with anger and disappointed towards Jungkook. Jungkook is not even hurt by it, because the reason Taehyung is lying in the hospital bed is because of him, his words. His own anger that he should have kept to himself.

Tearing his eyes away from the scene, he lets out the heaviest sigh. Taehyung's blood is still on his shirt.

"He is not a child, he should not have said anything negative when Tae was in that position, was it too hard thing to do?" Namjoon's words are directed towards him, the bitterness spikes Jungkook's skin and he agrees with him. He hears another of those sighs from Yoongi, those where he is so done with the conversation yet he has to prove his point, because he believes he is right.

Jungkook's inside feels ugly. Unorganized. Instead of mumbling a word, he tries to peel off the dried blood from his hand, he pretends they are his own.

"Jungkook hasn't dealt with some shit like this before and I don't think anyone would be sane in situation like this. So stop blaming this kid, and appreciate whatever he has done.  drop this fucking conversation before I have to do something that I would regret. " And Namjoon's mouth is shut, but the frustration and anger is clear on his eyebrows and red cheeks. Yoongi walks away and sits next to Jungkook without muttering another word. The hallway of the hospital carries a heavy silence. There's a warm hand on small of Jungkook's back.

The words of, "Taehyung never existed" in his head, forms into "Taehyung should be existing, but not like this."

Over the horror silence of the room and tension in the air, foot steps comes closer and the doctor who checked Taehyung earlier speaks up, "He will be fine. But," Jungkook's heart latches.

Namjoon is already standing in front of the doctor, curiosity decorated on his face and voice.
"I am his brother and If he needs something, Just inform me." He says, so easily as if he is his brother. If Jungkook didn't know Taehyung all his life, he might have assumed Namjoon is his real brother. Though it doesn't make much differences.
