"You are so different."

His long hair is falling into a mess, grass and dirt all over the knots of the mess. Jungkook looks up at Hoseoks voice as he pets the hen on his lap who has made Jungkook's lap her throne. The corner of his mouth quirks up a little, nose scrunching as he pets the fur with his palms, scratching the skin with nails sometimes.

"About what?" Jungkook asks, keeping his voice down to keep the sleeping little thing on his lap undisturbed.

Hoseok is sitting just opposite of him on the grass too, just a little away from the farmhouse that Jungkook wanted to explore right after waking up. The older is smiling fondly as he looks at the hen and Jungkook wonders what he means by thinking him as different. There a look of hesitation on Hoseok's face when the younger asks, and Jungkook can tell the subject isn't something discussed casually. So Jungkook just does what he was doing, scratching the animal with his nails gently to provide it with comfort.

"Everything." The older finally says, "Moly-you know her probably. She was..something. She came here once and left on her second day of staying cus' it was too risky for her to stay."

Jungkooks hand is still on the fur on his lap and mouth just a little dry. He realizes they have been sitting here for a quite while, pretty sure his skin will be darker by the end of the week which isn't a problem, after all the heat of the sun should be appreciated. The mention of Moly makes him feel uncomfortable from what he doesn't know, the sweat or the sentence itself.

"What do you mean..risky?" He questions, mouth dropping a little in confusion.

Hoseok shrugs, turns on the other way to look outside the field, the endless rows of threes,

"She thought this place was gloomy, complained about this village being too dirty and cramped- the house too, this and that or this-she hated it, didn't hide it either." Jungkook frowns, irritated, "She had a fight with Taehyung cus'she wanted to go back already and he wanted to stay, they ended up leaving anyway."

"Oh?"

"Yeah."

Jungkooks thoughts are getting just a little muddle. His shoulders which were relaxed are now tensed. He was here to have a good time but he promises himself he will at least try to achieve that. The morning sky is a soft shade of blue and white, fading with pastel yellow from the sun they can't see from here. He sighs, unable to think of a way to respond to that. There is a slightest of worries in his mind, the answer should not be positive, should not be negative, its just something Hoseok decided to share, a piece of information that should not bother him.

Yet it did.

"did they fight a lot?" but he asks anyway. The pressure on his chest is back.

"Oh, they did." Hoseok chuckles, dryly, "A lot. All the time- but Tae was weird..he never talked back with her." He shakes his head, "not even when he should."

Jungkooks jaw tightens, and all it was then did this heavy sensation tugging in his stomach, his lips falling into a frown. It wasn't his business yet it felt fucking weird. Queasy. Not that Taehyung wouldn't talk back with Jungkook. Hoseok notices and clears his throat, and Jungkook is glad he is changing the topic.
