Jungkook's carpet is soaked with red wine.

Snows out, winter announces it's arrivals beautifully in Jungkook's life, a new beginning and new clothes, various flowers. His mind has been floaty lately, the snow outside always keeping his heart warm and his store has been going absolutely great. His closet is now decorated with gifts from his friends, pastel shades of crochet sweaters and fluffy clothes.

To celebrate the arrival of snow fall he has decided to invite his closest friends and throw a small party with home baked deserts and meal, everyone has agreed to their heartbeat. They needs a break too after long weeks of work without any glimpse of rest in between.

Rosy cheeks and unsteady breath from laughing and alcohol, he watches Yoongi grunting at Seokjin with red wine spilled over his faded jeans, the wine has soaked through Jungkook's carpet too but he doesn't mind. Because Seokjin is getting scolded by Yoongi for accidentally spilling it on him but he has a smile too, cheeks little rosy and his breath smells like wine. He never imagined a friendship blooming between two of his hyungs but if he is honest, they would make a pretty couple with the height differences they possess.

"Gguks,  pass me the chips" It's Jimin's voice that nudges him, the older is laid out on the floor, his limbs sprawled like starfish with his newly dyed purple greyish hair curling on the floor, eyes stuck on the Tv screen where a comedy horror movie plays which nobody pays attention to except for Jimin and Jungkook.

Jungkook rolls his eyes, "Are you going to wait for dinner or be full with chips of yours?" He mumbles but passes him the packet of Doritos , the sound of plastic underneath his fingertips makes him cringe. The loud chewing of Jimin makes him groan and Yoongi sighs when Seokjin laughs loudly near his ears after watching a man falling off a chair on the screen. Everything is very messy and Jungkook doesn't mind it when it's them.

Their laugh and loud chewing, the sound of television, everything turns muffled in Jungkook's ears, a small smile that can't seem to fight away rests over his face and he isn't worrying about anything. It's been a while he has felt this peace and he wishes he stays for little longer.

" m'gonna check on ramen." He stands up and his limbs are numb from sitting for hours, it's almost one in the morning and they have been here since afternoon, nobody is eager to leave. They had home baked cookies and cake, some alcohol, stomachs are warm and full after tasting Jungkook's skilled food. He is more than glad for them to stay over, it's been a while anyway. A  whine and a tugs at the bottom of Jungkook's short, he raises an eyebrow.

"C'mon rest a little -" Jimin makes a motion to stand up but Jungkook bends down to tickle on his chin, shaking his head which gives him a whine from the older, "M'coming with you." Jimin rolls his eyes.

The kitchen is warmer than rest of the apartment, a bouquet of white rose and purple baby breath is resting next to the fogged window, a gift from his cousin. As he stirs the almost finised ramen, part of him eagerly waits for the pizza to arrive which he has been waiting for a pretty while. It's midnight and he feels guilty for making them work at this hour.

Jimin grabs four Chinese bowls and spoons, neatly places them on the table even Jungkook has told him he doesn't need help.

"Thank you hyung." Jungkook mutters, there's a pot in his hand and he places it in the middle of the table, the evaporation makes his nose scrunch.
