The sound of the keys dangling could be heard in the quiet room as a young police officer inserts the key on the lock of the door inside the bars.

There is this certain kind of emptiness within Jungkook that he can not shy away from when he watches the person sitting inside the bar, and there are two types of tiredness Jungkook feels, one is dire need of to get away, the other is Taehyung.

The older makes him feel tired .

To say he is tired would be an understatement. Why did Taehyung let him taste freedom and happy time for some days? Why would he come back and make him feel everything, but nothing at all and just ditch everything to go behind the bars and ruin his reputation? It makes no sense.

Why does he have to be so reckless?

"How much did he drink exactly?" Jungkook quietly whispers to the officer who shakes his head, Taehyung is inside, chuckling to himself while his entire attention is away from them, unaware of Jungkook and the officer approaching, the tries to pull his wrist away multiple times, but gets pulled back by the heavy metal cuffs, his face is covered by his dirty hair.

"A lot. Quite a lot to attack a teenager and ..a police officer." After hearing the mans words, Jungkook lets out a heavy exhale, thinking about another long night he is about to have, more of thinking to add to his already filled list.

Taehyung curses at something, face twisted to something Jungkook can't figure out, he looks annoyed, angry and drunk, doesn't look like Taehyung at all but someone who is disguised as him to prove the world wrong.

"Mr.Kim, you are free to leave, you got your bail." it's the officers voice that rings this time, he glances between Taehyung and Jungkook, decides to leave them space as his figure disappears outside the bar. Jungkook forces himself to look at Taehyung.

Taehyung looked beyond disturbed when they arrived in his condo.

"What- what the fuck you did that for?" He mumbles after they are sitting on the couch, jungkook just a few feet away from him, questioning eyes, he has been quiet throughout the car ride.

And jungkook's brows creases at his words. What the fuck is he doing? if he knew he would have been the happiest person alive. But he doesn't know, how is he supposed to make Taehyung understand. His feature changes into confusion when Taehyung scoots away from him, and when the light from the outside flickers over his face, Jungkook could see the fine line of his scowl etched over his lips. There was no doubt Taehyung is pissed with his actions.

"If it makes you feel better, I think I am here wasting my time." Jungkook decides it wouldn't hurt to be honest for once, really if he is getting this kind of treatment after dropping his work hours and spend half of the money from his bank account to get this man, Taehyung out of the jail- sure, it can be worse than just wasting his time.

Taehyung looks up, head tilting, his eyes aren't the darkest shade of brown, they are mean and ready to argue. Jungkook already hates it.

"Get..out." Taehyung's voice is slurred when he says this, tilting his head back until its resting on the wall, his Adam apple moving along, "i don't..wanna deal with this right now. Fuck off." he grunts lowly.
