(Late request, my bad :,) Enjoy!)

It was lightly pouring outside. "Hmm, Ashlyn is probably admiring the rain right now.. she really likes watching it. She looks really pretty when she is doing something she enjoys, like the time we went bowling and she won. Ah, maybe i should text her.. nah, it's more fun to sneak up on her." Aiden thought to himself. He picked up my umbrella, and, obviously, told Ben where he was going, or else he'd probably freak out haha! "So, umbrella, jacket, boots, yep, it's all here." Aiden spoke aloud. He hopped down the stairs happily, making his way to the bottom with a leap. He opened the front door, and began walking to Ashlyn's house. It was only a few doors down, thankfully. As Aiden made my way to her house, he noticed that her parent's car was gone.. Maybe she wasn't home.

Knock..knock..

Silence.

"Maybe she really isn't home.." Aiden muttered to himself.

Creak..

"Sorry for the delay, had to make sure you weren't a kidnapper, hahaa." Ashlyn explained. "Why'd you stop by?"

His heart froze. She looked so pretty, her braids were wet, and her eyes were sparkling in the rain. A small, rosy pink blush crept onto his face. "Oh.. well, i know you like the rain. So i was wondering if you'd like to take a walk with me." He went on. "You don't have to or anything but-" "That'd be nice." Ashlyn interrupted him. "I'd love to." The ginger spoke with words of reassurance. Aiden leaned forward and took her hand in his. The two shared the umbrella as they walked down the sidewalk. It was a comfortable silence. Aiden was looking away, blushing like a mad man, while Ashlyn was admiring the rain.

After a while of walking, they had came to a roundabout. This was when they decided to head on home. "This was nice, thank you Aiden." Ashlyn told him, not daring to look him in the eyes as she turned red. "Mm.. I like hanging out with you." He murmured quietly, nut it was loud enough for Ashlyn to hear. They reached the steps of Ashlyn's house. "Thank you for this.." She closed her eyes, and gave him a peck on the lips before turning around and running into her house. Aiden stopped, touching his lips with his fingers softly. He was a bright as the sun. "Y-yeah, no problem!" He called out, dazed. This was the girl of his dreams and they kissed at her doorstep, like in the movies. Best day ever.
