"Darling?" Ashlyn asked. "Why do i need to wear mascara again?" Taylor sighed softly, the girl was cute yet so oblivious. It was heart warming, in a way. "Because, we are going out on a date, and i want us to dress up a little." Ashlyn gazed into Taylor's eyes. "But mascara makes my eyes water." The ginger girl complained.

Taylor gave her a kiss on the forehead. "I'm done, and, you look super cute, sweetheart." Ashlyn blushed at the name. "..alright. Let's go then.." Ashlyn stood up, taking Taylor's hand as the two went down the stairs.

"Bye dad! Bye mom! I'm going out with Taylor!" Ashlyn hollered. "Be safe trooper!" Her dad called back. "Thank you for having me!" Taylor shouted to them, in a hushed tone. "Of course, we love having you!" Ashlyn's mother called.

The two girls finally left the house. It was a sunny day outside, and might i add, very, very beautiful. There was not a cloud in sight and the sun was beaming bright.

They walked down the street, eventually, passing a new ice cream shop that just opened up on state street. Taylor desperately wanted to go. It was painfully obvious.

"Heyyy, Ashyyy?" Taylor mused. "Can we pretty, pretty, pretty, please, please, pleaseeee, go the ice cream shop?" The girl used puppy dog eyes, it worked like a charm. "Well.." Ashlyn paused. She had a recital coming up, but, a little ice cream date with your girlfriend had never hurt anyone. "Fine.."

"Yay! Thank you so much!" Taylor jumped in the air, dragging Ashlyn into the store.

"What can i get you two, ladies?" The kind hearted lady asked them. Ashlyn turned shy, she did NOT like new people. "Hi! Can i get the, uhm, strawberry shortcake ice cream, and a chocolate cone ice cream, please?" Taylor replied. "Yes, that will be $8 and 67 cents." Ashlyn took out some money, putting it on the counter.

After about five minutes of waiting, the ice cream was finally ready. "Here you go!" The cheerful lady spoke, with a heck of a lot of enthusiasm. "Thank you.!" Taylor called back as the girls left the store.

"She was nice, hm?" Taylor said, earning a small sigh from Ashlyn. "Yeah.. but she was loud."
