Logan angst was requested by Sour_Taffy

"I don't deserve this!" Logan cried out, as Ashlyn put down another draw four card. "This is unfair, unacceptable!" Ashlyn shrugged. "Ya win some, ya loose some." She said, making Logan sigh in response, as he put down a blue two. Ashlyn set down a green two right after nimble. "UNO!" She called triumphantly, clearly proud of herself. Logan groaned. "You always win!"

Logan grumbled at his bitter defeat. "Rematch?" He asked, curiously. Ashlyn nodded her head, accepting his challenge. "Here, i'll shuffle," Logan began, taking the cards. "Since you shuffled them last time and all." Ashlyn muffled a giggle. Logan was always over explaining everything. But that was one of the things that Ashlyn liked about the boy. That and the fact he was always willing to help her, and the others in the group. He was a great friend, and overall very loving and sweet.

The two of them continued to play uno, starting another match before Logan's watch beeped. "One more minute..." He mumbled, Ashlyn took notice of the sorrow in his eyes. "We'll be okay." She said, forcing a smile as she looked at him. "This isn't our first rodeo, might as well try getting used to it.."

"Yeah..." Logan mumbled, as the two fell over as the time struck 12:00. It was kinda like a Cinderella story, if you looked at it from a different angle. But a Cinderella story is supposed to have a happy ending.

The two then woke up in the gated area, aka, the school bus graveyard. Logan felt his sides flare up. "What the hell..?" He thought. "Where the fuck is Ashlyn?!" A phantom was right next to him, eating away at the guts of Logan. "How did it get to me so fast?! Where are the others?!" His mind was racing. He needed to get help, and fast or he would not make it. Logan attempted to scream for help but no sound came out except for a low, and raispy mumble. The phantom had gotten to his vocal cords already. Logan couldn't keep his ground anymore, and fell over as the phantom continued munching away.

You could hear the wet, splashy sounds of his organs being ripped out and bitten into. The soft munching coming from the phantom's mouth. Blood soaking into the ground. It wasn't supposed to end like this. It was never supposed to end like this. Hell, it wasn't even supposed to begin like this.

The phantom, satisfied, stood up. Blood dripping ever so softly to the ground. It's dark, shadowed figure stepping away, going to find its next victim to satisfy its hunger. Logan had tears in his eyes as he looked at his sides. "I don't deserve this.." Was his last thought as the light haired boy drifted off into an internal slumber. The boy who would do anything, for anyone, dead at age 15. Who would have thought? It's such a shame to see such a young, blooming child die in such a gruesome way. Poor Ashlyn too.. and the others.. they may never even find out what happened to him.

It's a mystery. And some mysteries are meant to be unsolved.
