I was standing in the corner of the green room nursing a glass of white wine and chatting with Corrine, Lou and Ben... it was loud and smoky, but calm. Calm had actually been the best way to describe how things were going... well. Relatively. There was currently a bottle blonde in a short red mini skirt and a bikini top with rhinestone fringe dripping from it perched in Austin's lap. Her friend, who is in a matching outfit only in white is in Smitty's lap and they both are laughing ridiculously at something one of the boys said. I could see both of their ego's swelling from across the room. Neither of them need any more of that.

"The one in white is Angel by the way.." Rin leaned over and snickered. I almost spit out my wine.

"Of course it is!" I said with a laugh rolling my eyes. I turned my back to them again, not willing to watch Austin slide his hand up his friend's thigh again. If she only knew how 'special' she really was.

It's the last show of our run, everyone is excited for real downtime before we are back on the road. It feels like the last day of school before summer break and we have all been excitedly discussing our plans for the week. Even though mine include locking my front door and only opening it for the delivery guy for as many days as possible. I also want to spend some time at the shop working on MY things. I have a couple dresses in progress that are being neglected because of tour that I would love to spend a couple days on.

"Hey, can we talk a second Jordan?" Dre put his arm around my shoulders and pulled me out of my daydreaming.

"Sure Dre." I touched Rin's arm and told her I would be back as I followed Dre out to the hall near Austin's dressing room.

"We haven't told Austin you agreed with the contract yet. Just wanted to make sure before we did that everything is still good." He said as he leaned on the wall.

"I think so Dre, things have been quiet for me. I do what I need to and get out of here. He seems a little more put together." I said taking a drink of my wine. "Let me tell him. He deserves to hear it from me."

"You sure? You want me to sit in with you?" Dre asked raising his eyebrow.

"Yeah I'm sure. I'll be fine. He's kept his end of the deal up. I'll talk to him. It probably won't be the conversation he wants to have, I'm just not ready to hash all this out yet, but I'll let him know I'm staying. If you want, I can tell him now." I flicked my watch around. "It's about that time anyway."

"Sure thing Jordy." Dre grinned and pushed his shoulder off the wall and headed to where Austin and his lady friend were polishing off some shots. She sputtered and coughed, wiping her lips with the back of her hand, her eyes looked to be watering. Amateur. Austin looked at her with slight concern before she finally seemed to be breathing again.

Dre walked up to him and Austin's eyes immediately scanned the room for me. He spotted me just as I was walking into his dressing room. He looked nervous again.

I closed the door behind me and went to his clothes I had laid out for him, several options like always. I made myself seem busy as I heard the door open behind me.

"Before you leave, Jordan please just hear me out. I don't deserve for you to listen to a damn thing I have to say but I sure as hell wish you would." He said, sounding defeated. I turned around and looked at him.

"Austin I'm not leaving. I just thought I owed it to you to tell you myself that I'm staying."

He rubbed his hand up and down his face and his shoulders dropped in relief. "Thank god, when Dre told me you wanted to talk I figured this was because you are leaving." He dropped his hand to his side with a smack against his leg. "Jordan I have said a lot of fucked up things to you.."
