It was nearly six when Marine and I had gotten texts from the guys summoning us back to the studio so we could all get dinner together for our last night here. We weren't sure when we would be able to get back to Nashville to see everyone. Between the tour here in the states wrapping up this week, Austin's birthday trip, the trip out for the Rolling Stone shoot and then almost immediately leaving for overseas.. things were about to get even more busy.

When we pulled up everyone was outside sitting around the huge fire pit, that was currently not lit seeing as though the Tennessee heat and humidity was in full swing. Delaney and Ryman were here, Ry was digging happily in the gravels with his construction equipment. As soon as he saw me he shouted in his sweet little voice "Uncle Austin! Your girlfriend is here! You better get ready for her wet kisses."

We all started laughing, but Ry did jump up and run to me, wrapping his arms around my legs. I crouched down and gave him a hug as he squeezed me hard.

"I do like you a lot Aunt JoJo. Just don't kiss me." He said muffled into my shoulder.

"Oh Ry I won't big man, I'll save my kisses for Uncle Austin." I said with a giggle. "I found you something today while I was out. Your momma told me you love playing with your farm animals and your big farm. But she also told me your farm didn't have any chickens! So look what I found." I dug around in my shopping bag and found the little plastic bag I was looking for. I opened it and told him to hold out his hands. He squealed with delight as I dumped 18 tiny plastic chickens into his little cupped hands.

"CHICKENS! Thank you Aunt JoJo! Momma! Momma!! Daddy! LOOK! Aunt JoJo got me chickens for my farm! All my chickens!!" He was jumping up and down in pure toddler excitement as he ran to Ernest and Lane showing them his new additions.

"Well thank goodness Ry, your little chicken coop was just sitting in your room empty. Now you can fill it up. You sure do have a lot of chickens to take care of now!" Ern said flashing me a grin.

"Did you tell Aunt Jordan thank you?" Delaney said raising her eyebrows at him.

"Yes momma!! Didn't you hear me!" Ryman said as he ran happily back to his dump truck and dumped his chickens in the back of it. Promptly burying them with a scoop of gravels.

"He told me, he knows his manners, you know that Lane." I said grinning at her. "I saw them and I couldn't resist. The shop owner thought I was crazy counting out 18 tiny little brown chickens."

"He loves them. Thank you Jordan. You didn't have to do that." She said.

"Well I have stolen his Uncle Austin and give him too wet kisses so I felt like I needed to give him a peace offering."

"Where's my gifts anyway? Aren't you supposed to be shopping for me?!" Austin said, fake disappointment dripping from his words. He was sitting back in a chair, his legs crossed at the knee with his hat placed on it, one arm was behind his head and the other resting on the arm of the chair with a cigarette between his fingers. He had just recently showered, his curls still wet on top of his head.

"You didn't get anything today. I'm done shopping for you, today was all about Marine and I."

Jay groaned from across the fire pit. "Don't say that. Shit she's already bought more than she needs!!"

"I don't have as many bags as she does!" Marine said with a laugh as she started into the house she and Jay were sharing.

"I don't think you need anymore gifts Austin, going by the grin plastered on your face last night when your ass finally showed back up, Jordan gave you all the gifts you need during that 'nap' you two took.." Ernest said with a chuckle while Delaney swatted at him disapprovingly.
