I had kept myself busy all day, I really did have so much to do. Adding a few days to an already over 3 week long leg of the tour before another break may not seem like a lot, but it added up. I had finally finished after a couple of hours and had cleaned for a bit too. Just tidying up some things before the girls came over later tonight.

Rin was bringing dinner and Marine said she would bring the wine so thankfully I didn't have to worry about either of those things. And although I had told Austin I would take a nap, what he didn't know won't hurt him because I really wanted to work on the last minute brainstorming and getting the fabric and trim ordered for his Gala outfit. This was something that needed to be done last week to fit into my schedule and it didn't get done. I might pay for it later but I needed this time to work for a bit.

I had texted him as soon as I had gotten home and that had turned into a 20 minute conversation about absolutely nothing, which only ended when he told me Louis was yelling at him. He's text me three times since then. I have to laugh, they are all going to kill me if he keeps this up, even if it's endearing as shit.

He had been quiet for a few hours and I was glad. He needed to keep his head in his work, i know he's stressed with the label down his neck and whatever hang up he has over this album he needs to work through. I don't want to be a distraction to that, even unintentionally.  I will really have to keep him focused while we are in Nashville, or at least try my best too. The entire gang of guys he was working with on this project was a distraction enough for him, as is Nashville itself. He hasn't been back in so long I have a feeling there won't be as much work actually done as they hope there will be. Austin is the king of procrastination, and granted he tends to be that type of person, the one that flourishes under pressure and does his best work if he's pushed to the limits, and that stresses me out. But, if he has to deal with me and my schedules I guess I have to learn how to deal with his laid back "it will get done" attitude.

That time let me lose myself in my own work for a bit. I got some things ordered, a few of the hundreds of emails sifted through, at least getting some of the more urgent things out of the way. I read over the details for the Rolling Stone shoot that they had sent over and I was extremely excited about it. They were running with the promise of the country album, which made me slightly nervous given the entire situation with that but the shoot itself was going to be bad ass. We were going to a working ranch in Colorado and based on the test shots they had sent me, the place was gorgeous. They want 90's cowboy and I was damn giddy at this point because they also see how well he pulls it off. Cowboy looks damn sexy on that man.....

The ping of my phone and the sound of my doorbell pulled me out of my daydream about Wranglers and Stetsons and shiny belt buckles. I hadn't realized it was already time for everyone to show up, I really had gotten lost in my work.

"Marine! Here give me one!" I said laughing as she juggled two paper bags of wine bottles. I grabbed one of the bags as she came in and walked to the kitchen.

"Jordan! let me look at you. I've been so worried about you! Austin has been giving us updates and said you were healing up pretty well. I'm so sorry girl, I know it had to be so terrifying." She grabbed me up in a hug as soon as our hands were empty.

"Never been so scared in my life, honestly thought I was going to die at least twice. I'm just glad everything worked out the way it did, it could have been so much worse. The things you sent over have helped so much. I'm almost neurotic about the scar gel." I laughed as she started inspecting me.

We were deep in a conversation about skincare when I heard the door open and Edie and Rin bustled in talking loudly and laughing. They both came around the corner into the kitchen with bags in their hands. Rin had stopped at our favorite taco truck in town and had two huge bags of food that already smelled amazing.
