CHAPTER TWENTY-TWO:

"Aryn! Aryn! Kakagising ko lang pero tinext pala ako ni Clyde kagabi, si Maya nasa kwarto–" Sera almost tripped after running from our room to where I was standing, "raw nila. Ah... there she is."

The three of us couldn't keep our eyes off of Yohan snuggling Maya in his arms as they peacefully slept. We didn't know whether to wake them up or let them catch some sleep. All I know is that I have been waiting for this kind of moment to happen between them. Yohan is so selfless that he becomes a martyr when it comes to Maya. He'd always think about what she wants even if it hurts him that he'd do his best to help her in any way. I have no idea how they ended up snuggling, but I feel happy for him. The way Yohan was wrapping his arms around Maya like he's protecting her from harm.

"Don't even think about waking them up." I warned the two people standing beside me. One was shocked with her jaw dropped to the ground, while the other was just staring at them with intensity. We're not even supposed to be standing in front of their room, gawking at the scene that should happen behind closed doors. Our heads then turned in-sync when Kylo left the other room, still rubbing his eyes since he just woke up. He noticed the three of us standing in front of the other room like customers waiting in-line in a restaurant. He casually walked over us, wrapping his arms on Jae's shoulder and mine, as he peeked his head on what we were looking at. "This is interesting... why?" He asked, not understanding the severity of this moment.

"Should we wake them up?" Sera asked, biting her nails while still gawking at them.

"Yeah, we should. We have a city tour at 10." Kylo was about to go inside the room when I stopped him. I want Yohan and Maya to wake up in peace, not in embarrassment if they ended up snuggling by accident. That always happens when two people share a bed, right? At first you're facing a different angle when you sleep but then it'll always end up in a cuddle. While I was explaining to Kylo why he shouldn't wake them up, my two remaining friends came out of their room. Shay's puffy eyes immediately landed on Jae which he avoided by walking out on us. But before he did, he made sure to have one last glance on his best friend and the girl I just told has feelings for him. I closed my eyes from the headache that creeped on to my head. It's too early in the morning to deal with this mess. "You know what, we should just leave them alone. Go have breakfast or something..." I said as I pushed Kylo and Sera to follow Jae downstairs.

"I can deal with this if you don't want to, you know." Kylo offered as he put his hands on his pockets.

"No, you've... you've done enough." I declined his offer before entering the room. I sat on the last bed where Julian was sleeping to wake him up gently. I was tapping his arms softly while calling out his name when Julian suddenly pouted like he's asking for a kiss.

I was leaning forward to give him a morning kiss when I noticed Kylo resting his back on the door. "I-I haven't brushed my teeth yet." I covered my mouth while watching Julian open his eyes. His eyes were blinking a few times like his sight was adjusting to the light before giving me an understanding smile. Julian pushed himself up to give me a kiss on the forehead instead. My heart jumped from my chest when Kylo hit the door loudly to wake everyone else in the room. Clyde and Charlie that was sharing the first bed were the ones who woke up first; Clyde being annoyed at Kylo so he flipped his finger on him. "We're leaving at 10. It's already quarter to 9, asshat." Kylo replied to Clyde's annoyed non-verbal response. He groaned from what Kylo said before lying down on their bed again until Charlie had to pull him out.

Julian and I were about to go out the room when I looked over at the second bed, and Maya was already awake. She couldn't stand up however because Yohan's still asleep and she's stuck in his arms. I mouthed the words what happened but she signaled me that she'll tell me later instead. Julian held my hand to drag me downstairs, stopping me from accidentally waking up Yohan. "I visited your room last night to tell you Maya's in our room, taking refuge or something, but you were already asleep. I didn't have the heart to wake you up so I just texted it." Julian recalled while we were heading to the restaurant to eat breakfast.
