Winning a Contest in New York (A Harry Styles/ One Direction fanfic)

Chapter 3

~Friday December 8th, 2012~

Zaynah's POV:

After about 20 long days of school, it was finally time!

I'm going to school until lunch and then I'm leaving for New York! Now, I only hope the school day will go by quickly.

"Bye, Lexi! I'll see you Monday in school." I told my best friend.

"Have fun with One Direction, Zaynah! But not too much fun!" she said while winking at me.

Wow, my best friend sometimes!

I got into the truck, which already had my luggage so I can go straight to New York, and opened up my twitter. I typed in a new tweet.

@Zaynah_Nassar: New York City here I come!!!!! :D

After I sent the tweet, I decided I best be on the road so I can meet my idols!

Harry's POV:

It's the weekend we get to meet Zaynah, the girl who won our contest.

We've been in NYC for a while now because of our performence at MSG (Madison Square Garden). But, meeting Zaynah is what I've been looking foward to this whole trip.

I snapped out of my thoughts when I heard a knock on my hotel room.

"Harry, you in there?" I heard Louis call.

"Yeah, mate." I said while opening up the door.

"Do you wanna come with me and El to get some lunch?" he asked.

As much as I enjoy hanging out with Louis, I don't want to be a third wheel.

"No, man, I'm good. Go spend some time with Eleanor." I told him.

"Okay, see ya later, Haz!" he called as he left.

It's not fair! Louis has Eleanor. Liam has Dani. Zayn has Perrie. And Niall is good as long as he has food. I have nobody.

I really need to find that special someone in my life. What if it's Zaynah? That would be great! She's not too much younger than me and she's obviously a fan. We always told our fans that one of us would date a fan. This could be the perfect opportunity.

I went to my bed to take a nap since I had nothing better to do.

And I fell asleep with one thing on my mind...

meeting Zaynah tomorrow.

Zaynah's POV:

~A Few Hours Later~

I finally made it to New York City. Sure it took several hours to get here, but it was well worth it.

On my way up, I had the CD D.N.A. by Little Mix on repeat.

I know, I know, you're probably thinking how does a Mixer from the USA have their CD already? Well, Lexi had taken a trip to India and stopped in London on her way over and bought me the CD! (A/N: true story... one of my friends went to India and in London she got me the D.N.A. Deluxe Edition CD as a suprise!)
