I can tell, Enzo looks pissed off. So I restart the song.
"Wha- why'd you restart the song?"
"Cause it was obvious your mind was somewhere else. You good? You look horrified," I say.
"Okay, I'm fine, and horrified is a strong word.
"So what are you, then?" I ask
"Nothing, I just realized something."
"What?" I ask.
"Nothing, just something about Cal and Oliver."
"What, that they'll never be able to pull girls?" Ananya questions.
He gives her that look that says, "Really?"
I restart the song again. I'm really curious about what he realized, but I don't wanna bug him. So I don't ask.
My phone is on DND (Do Not Disturb.) So when I hear the noise of a text reading into my AirPod, I question why.
All I hear is "Ananya said "I love third-wheeling" - JJ"
I quickly text back,
Me: YOU KNOW I DONT LIKE HIM LIKE THAT 😐
Ananya: I'm Steveing
Ananya: "It's true what they're saying on the train, Denial has come to Hogwarts." - Draco Malfoy
Me: Whatever 🙄🙄🙄
To be honest, that last text was kind of smart, with the Draco quote. The JJ quote was annoying though.
I just remembered that I paused, How Does It Feel, so I un-pause it.
As Toosii sings

And, uh I don't know why I try to replace it,

Look at all the time I done wasted."
I all of a sudden hear Enzo say, "Cal and Oliver are both Gemini's. They are 2 faced," In an ashamed tone.
"How?" I say in confusion. And he takes a gigantic sigh.
"They claimed that I'm friendz- you know what, never mind. I think they're spreading rumors about me, about us." He says nervously.
What does he mean by us? What did he tell Cal and Oliver about us?
"How, when, what do you mean about us and how bad is it?" I demanded.
"I think they told Bryce that, I'm in- in love with you."
