Enzo's Point Of View:
I slept decently last night, which is surprising since I went to bed late, and had to wake up really early. Charlotte woke up before me. I think so she could just get dressed before me, and so we don't have to wait for her. I heard her go in the bathroom like 10 minutes ago, and heard her go out of the bathroom five minutes later. I thought girls take like an hour to get ready, from what I've seen from Mom at least.
School starts at 8:30, we're supposed to leave at 7:45 so I could get there early, and I'm supposed to wake up at 6:45. I could wake up at 7:00 and still be ready on time. But for some reason, I enjoy being the only one awake. I'm already dressed. I just have to brush my teeth and wash my face. When I get to the bathroom door, I grab my Airpods out of my right pocket, since I listen to a two to three-minute song when I'm brushing my teeth.
When I leave the bathroom, I see Mom walk out of her room across from me. I see her still in her pajamas - she mostly works from home.
"Morning Mom, I say while walking past her, then I begin walking back in the direction of my room.
"Hold up wait, how did you sleep? I know you went to bed kinda late last night," she says.
"I slept surprisingly well, I woke up in the middle of the night though. But that's nothing compared to how I slept the other day."
"Is Charlotte up do you know? I just woke up and saw you when I walked out so."
"Yeah, I think she woke up before me actually."
"Okay, good can you wake up your brother?" she says. I hear this alarm going off, it's the default alarm so it drives me crazy in the mornings. He really needs to change it, he doesn't even get up when he uses it. So what's the point in annoying the entire household?
"Yeah, Don't worry I got you. He really needs to change that alarm, it drives me insane in the morning," I say as I watch the dimples on Mom's cheek form as she laughs.
"Okay thank you. We should be leaving in 15 so..." she says. I nod in agreement, then walk towards my room. I actually turn right to Romeo's room. When I reach his door, I knock and say,
"Aye, Ro get up, we gotta leave in 15." I hear him grumble.
"You up?" I ask,
"Yeah," he responds, sounding asleep.
Then I head to the next room between mine, (The guest bedroom) knock on the door and say in a calm voice,
"Uh Charlotte, we gotta leave in 15. You ready?"
"Yeah."
As I go to walk out of my room, I hear Romeo's door open, and watch as a damn near dead human to zombie walks out. His hair is messed up, not like his usual short coily hairstyle. He has eye boogers under his eyes, he looks like he got no sleep last night too. I'm having a serious argument with my intrusive thoughts to talk shit to him.
I honestly give him too much shit, but at the same time everything he was telling me last night... You know what, I'm gonna be a good brother and a decent human being and not say anything. As much as it hurts to not, he did help me out a lot last night, and he's gonna be leaving for college soon so I'mma just not.
25 minutes later, we're pulling up to the gates of our school. It's 8:05, so the gates just opened a few minutes. I see Rose and Ananya, most likely waiting for Autumn.
