Rose Ramirez and Lorenzo Martin have known each other since 5th grade. They were each other greatest enemies for the longest time. Until last year, when their paths kept crossing. After having, all the same classes, going to the exact same therapist...
I've been talking to Nel for about 30 minutes. So far I've told him about, Cal and Oliver claiming I'm in love with Rose, and them now spreading rumors.
We've been sitting in silence for the past 3 minutes. I've just been looking around this office, I see a poster that says, Born To Win and a poster that says Forever.
"So how do you feel about Cal and Oliver, spreading rumors?"
"I- I feel betrayed. Like our friendship of a whole six years meant nothing. All because of a damn girl," I say in a wobbly tone.
"I know it hurts, but you'll get through it. You don't deserve to be hurt like that," he says in a soothing tone.
"Thank you, Nel. You remind me of my therapist, Jarad. You know how to comfort people," I say in a faint tone.
"I'm here to listen if you ever need to talk."
"Thank you, again," I say.
"You know it's crazy, because to say all because of damn a girl hurt to say."
"Why?"
"Because. They're right. I am in love with Rose. It took them to realize it. If I'm being for real I feel like there was always something that brought us together," I admit.
"Well, I'm glad you realized it. What makes you feel like there's always been something that brought you guys together?"
"We'll the surprising part about it is, we used to hate each other."
"How'd you reach this point now?"
"Last year, we had every class together, we'd both always go to the library, and sometimes all the tables would be filled, until one day I decided to offer her a seat at my table. She said no the first time. After two times of her saying no, I went up to her and said You come to the same table every day, alone. You seem lonely most of the time, you wanna come to my table?"
"Wow, I'm glad you did that. If your kindness didn't take over hatred, you'd never have found love."
"That's the thing, I didn't. She doesn't know I'm in love with her.
"We'll shoot your shot man, don't be scared."

To be honest, I didn't plan for this chapter to be this deep, but writing this right now I'm now realizing how deep of a chapter it actually is.
