Right after she said, Then possibly get him jumped. It made goosebumps appear on my arm, and shivers down my spine.
I mean, it's not like I like her, so I don't understand why. I do feel slightly like Oliver and Cal are kinda right about me being friend-zoned. But so what? I couldn't care less about being in the friend zone. I just felt like being slightly flirty earlier only because they got to my head, but deep down, I don't care.
"Hey, are you alright? You look kinda on edge." She says in a concerned tone.
"Yeah, I'm fine. This song is just messed up."
"Does it kinda trigger you? Want me to choose another song?"
"No, not at all. This song is great. I mean, it's not great considering what he's talking about, but it's a great song overall."
"Don't worry, I get what you mean." She says
"Alright, I think Nel is a good song to play next."
"Nel? I thought Nel is a rapper, like being short for Mbnel." I say questioning while being slightly firm.
"Yes, but it's also a song he raps about himself in 3rd person."
As I see her scroll and look for the song, Ananya comes back. I disconnect my AirPods from hers and then get up.
"Hey, you alright? Why'd you disconnect?" She asks softly.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I'mma just use the bathroom."
I go to Ananya, who has the bathroom pass. We both walk towards Mr. Naujour.
"Here, just give me the pass. I'm about to hopefully go."
"Alright." She says.
As I walk toward Mr. Naujour, I see the board say FREE DAY. This is why Mr. Naujour is my favorite teacher.
"Can I use the bathroom, Mr. Naujour?" I ask
"Sure."
Right before I walk out of the door, I see Ananya and Rose talking. Right after I walk out of the door, I take a big sigh as I feel a strange feeling of anger go through me.
