𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ; 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝

SEVEN

They all four stood on the sidewalk while watching Becky run to her parents and hugged them tightly, the look on her parents were amazing, with big smiles on their faces and tears running down their cheek. "look at that. Job well done. Oh, but what about David the demon?" Charles asked Crystal when they begin to walk away from Becky's house "He's still a stalker. Still an asshole. But I am gonna get my memories back" Crystal said while walking in front of the two boys "With the help from us, we'll defeat him quick"Frances walked in sync with Crystal "I hope so, I hate him so much I want to set him on fire!" Crystal yelled the last parts before she calmed down again "Sorry" She apologized for her outbreak "No need to say sorry, I would be pissed if I had a demon ex boyfriend in my brain."

"Wouldn't that be fun, two human girls with demon ex boyfriends. I mean, we've defeated David before so we have experience with fighting demons" Charles said "Let's not be cocky" Edwin glanced at his mate with a small smile "cocky? I smacked talked a crow while pulling you out of an abyss and saving a girl, then concussed the witch" Edwin was quick to correct Charles "Possessed her, possibly alerting the afterlife to our location." Frances rolled her eyes at the formal boy "There's four of us, I think we can take down the afterlife" Shes slowed her walking down to be in between of Charles and Edwin "It's not all that easy, yet again you've never been in the afterlife." 

"Actually, Frans is quite smart. She not only found where Becky was, she helped me with your escape and fought off a witch. Quite impressive." Charles defended his friend causing her to smile "You sure speak highly of her, is there a particular reasoning?"  Edwin put his gloved hand in his coat, keeping his eyes looking straight "Yes, there is. She is amazing at what she does"  Frances couldn't stop smiling, he kept giving her compliments and she barely if not ever gotten any in her life, it was nice. "Charles stop trying to get with her" Crystal said in an annoyed tone, you could practically feel the eye roll coming from Crystal.  "oi i'm not trying to get with her, I'm being nice."

HOURS LATER :-)

All four of the teens were on their way to move to London so they could solve more cases there, but they were stopped by the same talking cat. "Hi buddy" Frances smiled, she didn't care if the cat talked anymore because the fluffy creature was adorable, at least to her. "Don't 'hi buddy' me. Mr perfect did a spell on which means trouble." Edwin crossed his arms around his cheat over his brown coat "A good detective does what he needs to in order to solve a case" He slowly walked to the brown cat "The cat king is pissed. We're taking you to him" Frances stopped the cat from saying anything else "a cat king? Like an actual cat is a king?" Frances asked the cute creature who sat on the floor, his brown tail moving in a line "yes. We're taking you to him." 

The gate from behind the cat went up, welcoming the teens in. The cat ran inside, on the ground where many other cats were just waiting "Now this is heaven." Frances was the first to follow the cat, she loved cats whether they talked or not... it was her weakness. While walking through the pile of cats, a very white, fluffy, Siberian breed rubbed her head on Frances ankle "hi there" Frances bent down, her knees on the pavement. The cat climbed on her clothes with her claws, wanting Frances to hold her "alright I'll hold you" Frances gave in, she grabbed the fluffy cat and carried the cat in her arms "You know these cats are dangerous, right?" Charles asked while staring at the cat, the cat stared back at him with her bright blue eyes "Okay shes cute" Charles slowly stroke the white fur, making the cat purr "see? It's not too hard to be nice to a cat, Edwin."  Frances shot at Edwin "I had to do what I had to do."

They finally made it inside the building where the cat king supposedly was, in front was two large beds and one of them had a cat laying in it "Aw look how cute he is" Frances tried her hardest not to run over there and pet the cat "let me do all the talking." Edwin said in all seriousness, it was his problem and he should solve it himself. A bunch of cats that were eating something ran away once they walked closer to the bed, it revealed to be a dead, bloody, person "ew.." Frances slowly put the Siberian cat back on the ground once she saw the sight of a dead person.

"where's the cat king?" Frances asked, not seeing a human but only cats. The cat on the bed in front turned into a purple smoke, after it cleared up there sat a human wearing all black "hi" He sat with his legs crossed "Can all cats do that?" Crystal asked Charles when he turned into a human "can all cats do that?" Cat king repeated while chuckling "Of course not.  I'm a cat king. I can tell your not the brains of the operation." The cat king yawned "oops sorry I'm already bored." His yellow eyes went to the cat sitting on the table "Which one of them used the magic on you?" "the scrawny one that just had the nerve to talk to you"

"oh." He tilted his head "we are the dead boy detectives-" The king of the cats spoke over Edwin "Oh I don't care. Using magic on my cats is a total car crash on your part" Frances couldn't help but ask why there were two beds if there was only a cat king "Why are there two beds?" The cat king looked over at the teenage "If there's a king there has to be a queen..." The cat king whistled over the same cat that Frances previously held in her hand. The white cat turned into white smoke and turned into a woman. The woman had white long hair with her bangs covering one side of her eyes, she had smokey eyeliner and glossy black lips with two piercing on the sides. The clothes she wore were all white, similar to her cat fur. She wore a button up shirt with three buttons unbuttoned, showing some of her skin, a white pencil skirt with gray leggings underneath "You're a human?" Frances was shocked that she held a cat human "Of course I am, why? you don't think I'm cute anymore?" She asked with her deep raspy voice  "uh-"

The cat queen slowly walked to Frances with a smirk on her black lips "I think you're cute" Her index finger with long black nails stopped at her jawline "the way you speak is so hot" A light white dust came from the cat queens body, Frances smelled the pheromones and made her eyes turn pink "Scarlet I told you not to use your powers when the person did nothing to us."  Scarlet sighed "But she would be fun" Charles spoke up "what powers does she have exactly?" The cat king answered "She has pheromones, makes other people attracted to her. Your friend might start to act a bit different."

"would you do anything for me?" Scarlet asked Frances, who was under her control thanks to her powers "Yes, my queen" Scarlet licked her lips with a smile "is that so?" Scarlet leaned closer to Frances ear and whispered "So if I were to kiss you, you would like that?" Frances nod her head "Please" She begged "alright that's enough" Cat king stood up and walked to Scarlet "we talked about this."Scarlet looked at the king "Oh come on" Scarlet stomped her food on the floor "she totally wants me" "Yeah because you have the powers of a succubus." Scarlet crossed her arms "Uncast the spell or we won't have fun in the evening." Scarlet's eye lit up when he said that, she snapped her fingers three times, turning Frances back to normal. 

She blinked her eyes a couple of times before looking around "uh what just happened?" Both the king and queen smirked at each other before disappearing with Edwin "where did Edwin go?" Charles yelled "They must've taken him somewhere" Crystal answered his question "if they do something to him-"

"Can someone please tell me what happened? I can't remember anything and my head is pounding" Frances placed her warm hand over her forehead, hoping the heat would stop the pounding pain, Charles glanced at Crystal "I am not telling her." Charles sighed "The cat queen seduced you and it worked on you" Frances coughed "she what?! And what do you mean it worked on me?!" Frances shouted, she wanted to know what happened "Well, you wanted to kiss her, she suggested to have sex with y-" Frances put her hand over Charles mouth to stop him from talking "That's enough"  Crystal stared at the two in silence "Well you wanted to know" Charles spoke when Frances took her hand off from his yapper "I did but I didn't know she seduced me!" Charles chuckled "Maybe that's why she purred so loudly when you scratched her ear. She was aroused" Frances had a disgusted expression on her face at Charles words "Your face!" He laughed loudly before stopping when Crystal spoke up "We still need to find Edwin.

Hours have passed, to the point it was now morning. Edwin randomly appeared back again "Edwin, where the hell have you been?!" Frances shouted at the ghost boy, it got Charles and Crystals attention "I've only been gone for a few moments." Edwin answered the brunette "no, you've been gone for literal hours."  Edwin didn't respond to him

"What is that on your wrist?" Crystal pointed out a bracelet on Edwin's wrist that had a cat on it  "The cat king gave me it, he said I can't leave."
