𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ; 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝

THIRTEEN

Frances stood in Niko's room with the two ghost boys, Crystal was outside of the room talking to Jenny about her weird behavior. "hi!" Niko waved her hand at Frances "hello"Frances spoke back to her, Crystal came running in after he talk with Jenny "I was trying to tip toe around this but we're out of time. So I'm gonna throw a lot of information at you and you can't freak out" Crystal stopped at her bed, Niko sat up more straightly once Crystal started to speak "my secret friends... they're ghosts"Crystal informed Niko, causing Frances to walk up by her "not cool, she's going to think were insane" 

"Me and Frances can see and communicate with them" Niko blinked rather slowly, still processing the information "Frances tell her to stop!" Edwin looked up from the book he had in his hands "I can't" Frances told Edwin before looking back down at Niko, Crystal begin telling Niko about her current situation, like the parasites trying to burst open out of her body. "We're here to help you" Frances added to Crystal's words "that got really dark." 

Edwin got mad at Crystal for telling Niko "You can't go around telling people ghosts are real. They will think that you're insane, which maybe you are, but it'll make things messy." Frances looked down at the book Charles held, horrific drawings of insects coming out flashed her eyes "I forgot how bad it was" Frances covered her mouth with her hand, in case she needed to throw up "I know"Charles scrunched his face in disgust after he flipped the page over.

"I'm glad you told me, and i'm glad you're here to help me" Niko said after being quiet for a few seconds "You're glad we told you about bursting open?" Frances got her attention, she turned her head to look at the brunette "I'm very opened minded and also very concerned" "Honestly I just find her so charming." Edwin commented.

"did you three find anything?" Crystal asked them "We found something underneath the shrine" Frances answered the curly head girl "A sacred vase" Edwin corrected her "Shut up" Frances rolled her eyes, she found Edwin rather annoying "Who are you saying shut up to?" Niko asked with her brows raised "Our secret friends."

"Charles dropped it" Crystal let out a long sigh while dragging her hands over her face in disappointment "and now we need that sacred vase to trap the sprites" "You dropped the vase?!" Crystal said angrily "didn't mean to-" "Ugh you're so clumsy!" Crystal groaned "He didn't mean to, I mean there were moving skeletons on the ground trying to murder us" Frances defended Charles, if Frances was the one to hold the vase she probably would've dropped it too. "moving skeletons?" Niko asked while grabbing her pink blanket and taking It off of her "There were skeletons that moved on the ground, they tried to murder me but Charles smashed its hand" Niko slowly nod her head "so he protected you?" Frances hummed at Niko's question "I guess so"  Niko smiled with all of her teeth showing "Must be a romantic" Frances started to cough loudly while Charles patted his coat "I really am, aren't I?"  "Focus you two"

Charles gave the pink book to Edwin before going to his small back pack "I know I dropped the enchanted vessel, but just hold up the tick. We may not have the enchanted vase but we do have an enchanted jar" Charles pulled out the jar that Tragic Mick gave them after they visited his magical shop, he dumped the dirt and lighthouse figure onto the floor "I wanted to hear the ocean sound one last time" Frances crossed her arms over her chest "I'll take you to the beach some time, yeah?" She nod her head at the boy "Do you see that floating jar too or am I hallucinating?" Niko asked to two girls "its ghost friends" Frances put her attention back onto the floating jar.

"Now assuming these offerings are still sacred, there" Edwin dropped a few items into the clear jar "makeshift vase" All a sudden, Niko started to shake around in her bed while screaming "Niko!" Frances ran to the bed, Crystal did the same. Niko stopped shaking around soon after "I need to talk to the things inside Niko. The dandelion sprites. I have a really attractive offer" Frances looked at her friend in worry "What are you doing?" She asked Crystal, concern written all over her face "Trust me on this." Niko sat up on the bed, her eyes and mouth had a pink light coming out her "Insolent child. left us to starve. Now watch while we desert this flesh!" The things inside Niko threatened, it made Frances worry about Niko's well being.

"I have something you want! My body is all yours if you leave Niko without hurting her. Niko, she has a family you can't take her away from them! I don't belong anywhere, please just take me instead! I'm a psychic medium, I can see the dead! Imagine the feast you could have, feeding off the attention from the living and the dead. You'd never go hungry again!" Niko started to levitate into the air once Crystal told the dandelion sprites  her offer, soon after Niko fell back onto the bed, the pink light now gone.

Frances made her way to Niko, luckily she was still breathing. Two small people came out of her mouth, they both wore all green outfits with weird hats "for real it smells like dog shit in there" One of the small humans said, the male one. "it's mixed with lemon or something, its bad" The female one agreed with the male. "You guys are the dandelion sprites?" Frances bent down to have a closer look at the small humans "Are we the dandelion sprites? of course we are!" The male one mocked Frances "there's no way- I mean.." Frances chuckled "you guys are so small" Frances poked one them, pushing them away "Hey! We are not small, you know what is though? Your non-existing brain!" The female who wore the dress roasted Frances, making her friend laugh with her "oo she burnt your ass!" 

Charles opened the jar he had and pushed the two annoying sprites inside, he quickly closed the top afterwards "well that was easy" Frances looked into the glass jar, both of the sprites asking if each other were okay "You think your so fucking cool huh! You're not you loser!" Frances grabbed the jar from Charles hand "keep talking shit see what happens" Frances warned them, but of course they didn't care "Oh what are you going to do, huh!? Kill us?" Frances shook to jar "Stop it!" Edwin snatched it from her hands "You goblin looking ass hat!"
