Frances followed the two ghost boys back to the butcher shop and up to where the rooms were, for some odd reason Niko's door was wide opened, of course she went inside to see what was going on. "why are you in her room? She never let me inside for some reason" Frances got Crystal's attention, she turned her body around to face Frances "She had like colorful things around her head? Then she got sweaty and fell down" Frances raised her brow "Colorful things? Crystal, have you been taking... substance?" Crystal sighed loudly "you guys aren't believing me! I know what I saw!"
"If you really want to know, I'll take a look" Frances walked to the side of the light bed and slowly placed her hand on Niko's hand, hoping to see some type of vision. All she saw were colorful movements, no past memories, only colors. Niko's whole bed shook when Frances hand was touching her "That's enough!" Charles grabbed Frances waist and pulled her away from Niko, stopping the vision she saw. "What happened?" Charles let go of her, worry in his voice "I don't know- All I saw was colors.." Frances explained what happened to her visions "just colors? I've never heard of anything like that before... or seen it." Crystal got in the conversation, neither of them seen anything like it before which could mean it's either dangerous or something new.
"Here are a list of questions to ask her when she wakes." Edwin handed Crystal a small piece of paper with questions to ask "and here's one to you too." Edwin moved to Frances and gave her a similar piece of paper but with different questions "really. Why do I need to ask her written questions?" Edwin tucked his hands into his pockets on his coat "because it is important we get information about her situation." Crystal's face lit up "So you'll help her?" She asked Edwin when she finished reading the questions on her paper "This is an almost perfect example of a supernatural mystery that can only be solved by us. Clearly, the living doctor proved entirely useless." Edwin said while he put his notebook in his coat "come on Edwin, it's not his fault Western medicine is so limited, is it?" Charles defended the living doctors "yeah not everyone can see ghost" Edwin smiled "You two, stay with Niko." Frances and Crystal looked at each other, confused why they had to stay back "why do we need to babysit?" "Is it because were girls?"
"No it is not, me and Charles need to go back to London to pick up some books, you two girls can't mirror hop, can you?" "you can't either. You have the cat kings bracelet on" Frances shot back at Edwin, reminding him about the golden bracelet. "I will just leave my hand out of the mirror. Simple."
It was now just the two living girls in Niko's room, Frances looked around her room that was filled with anime posters and manga "She sure likes anime" Frances paced throughout the room, she ended up picking up a manga about two boys being in love "and likes to read explicit manga." She quickly closed the book when she saw something she didn't want to see. "You and Charles, huh?" Crystal spoke up after she looked around Niko's room "what about it?" Frances questioned the girl "You two seem close" Frances shrugged her shoulder "We're friends." Crystal hummed, not believing the British teen. Frances went over to the shelf that Crystal was standing at, she had a book in her hand and flipped to a random page
"Friends don't look at each other the way you two do" Crystal put down the manga and picked up another, different one "Crystal, if you are suggesting that me, a human, likes Charles, a ghost, then you must be insane." Frances blushed while Crystal spoke about her and Charles relationship, they were just friends, nothing more. "You know it's okay to like a ghost" Frances sighed "I don't like him, even If I did we literally met a day ago" Crystal put the book down so she could look at Frances "I fell in love with David the moment I saw him." Frances looked down at the floor "And that was your biggest mistake." She didn't mean to be rude, but it was true. David was the worst thing to happen to Crystal, with taking away her memories and stalking her "That's true but Charles is not like David. Charles does care about you, I saw the way he pulled you away from Niko." Crystal softly spoke "friends care about each other." Frances told her, looking away from her gaze "Keep telling yourself that you're friends, I bet in two more days you will become official." Frances rolled her eyes at Crystal's comment, but her conversation had her thinking, does Charles actually like her?
