After taking Maren and Ginny to the police station, Frances decided to talk to Charles about her feelings towards him. So here they were, in an alley since the butcher shop was currently close because Jenny nearly got murdered.
"What did you want to talk about?" Charles questioned with confusion, it sounded quite urgent. Frances looked up at the taller boy, feeling her nerves act up. "I just wanted to apologize for being...bitchy to you." Charles let out a chuckle from the girls words "Its alright. I understand. You were right about the jocks. I just- I see the best in people despite that they could be evil."
Silence took over, not knowing what to see to each other. The only sounds were Frances beating heart and the wind blowing against the trees "I uh.." Frances started to speak "Sorry for running away from you when you... kissed me." She quietly said, avoiding Charles gaze. "No-sorry for kissing you without your permission. I should've asked you." Charles did feel sorry for kissing her, he just couldn't help it. She looks so beautiful in his eyes, he never seen someone as pretty as Frances.
Frances gulped loudly before her eyes landed on his brown ones "Its not like I wanted to run away.." Charles tilted his head to the side, not understanding the girl "wha-" Frances grabbed Charles cheek and kissed him quickly and softly before letting go and looking down at the pavement "Woah.." Charles put his index finger on his lips, still in disbelief.
"Charles, I didn't want to run away from you. I ran because I never felt this way for anyone before, let alone a dead boy. And in school, no one liked me so it was quite weird when you kissed me... Charles," Frances looked up from the concrete "I like you. I really do. I know its wrong timing to tell you but I need to get it off my chest."
Charles lips turned into a smile as his cheeks turn into a bright shade of pink. He may not have a working heart, but he could feel the vibration that his heart would be feeling "You do?" He asked, not believing that such a beautiful girl would like a boy like him. "Yes." She admitted with confidence.
"I never felt this way for anyone either. I guess were alike?" Both of the teens smiled at each other, both glad that they finally exposed each others feelings for one another.
Charles gently put both of his index and thumb on Frances sharp jawline and softly caressed it. He took a step closer to the brunette "Can I kiss you?" He asked with sparkles in his brown eyes "You don't need to ask" After that, Charles learned down to Frances face, his lips making its way to her pink ones. His lips finally touched hers with affection and love. Once they pull away they both looked at each other with a toothy smile "I sure hope no human saw me kissing a wall" Charles couldn't help but laugh loudly at her comment "Just tell them there's a hot ghost boy you're talking to,yeah?"
Frances stood on her tiptoe, grabbing his face and smashing her lips against his, feeling more confident with him and ignoring the fact that a person could walk in the alley way. Charles smiled in the kiss, his hands trailing down to her back to give her more security. As they both shared a kiss, Crystal walked in the alley way "Hey Frances- Holy shit!" She yelled loudly while her mouth was opened wide "Uh-"Frances quickly pulled away from Charles, her face red as a tomato.
"I'm just- going to leave.... see you two around" She winked before leaving them two alone. Charles looked at Frances with a smirk "now what?" He asked, licking his lips "Do you want to watch a movie together?" Frances put her hands in her coat, looking at her shoes "Sure, m'lady. You choose which movie, yeah?"
"How about Valley Girl?"
