"why don't we just buy it all" Frances asked while staring at the glass that had every kind of meat you could possibly find. Niko's idea was to put meat on the circle that created ocean music, it wasn't a bad idea but they needed to know what kind of meat Angie likes.
"I read once that cannibals called people long pic because they tasted like pork... so maybe get pork." Everyone looked at Niko as if she was insane, Frances wondered what she reads in her room. "I don't just watch anime... I read!" She smiled cheek to cheek "You read about cannibals?" Frances raised her brow while looking at Niko's dark eyes "Well.. yeah. It's interesting." Her smile went down as she answered the question.
The door bell rung loudly throughout the shop, causing everyone to turn around. There stood Monty, the one with fluffy black hair who loved reading about the stars in the sky. "Oh.. sorry. Am I interrupting something?" He asked with his eyes scanning at everyone "Of course not." Edwin quickly walked to the boy "Came here to return your book. I loved it! It was beautiful and also very funny." Frances glanced at Charles, who looked quite mad for some odd reason.
"What are you guys doing?" Jenny's voice asked, Frances quickly turned around with a smile "and who is this new teenage person?" Jenny pointed to Monty, she had never seen the boy before. "His name is Monty" Frances answered Jenny with her hands behind her back, slightly standing on her tiptoes. "Ah well, why did you come in here when I was tossing scraps?" A sigh escaped from Jenny's lips, not having the patients. "Can you guys hang out somewhere else? This isn't the peach pit."
Jennys eyes went to Crystal "Oh Crystal, some red-headed woman in a pantsuit came by for you. Said shes a family friend. I told her you're at the beach, she didn't leave a number." Jenny informed the teen as she opened a metal box to put one of her love letters inside. Frances smiled at Crystal, maybe she will find her long lost family relative. "Did she say anything else- no?" Crystal stopped talking when Jenny gave her a look "well we better leave." Frances said before they all walked outside to the garbage, where Jenny threw away the scraps.
Frances stood away from the garbage because it smelt horrible, imagine a scent of dead corpse mixed up with garlic and onions. She leaned on the brick wall with her arms crossed, glancing between the garbage and Edwin, who was talking to Monty.
Charles got out of the garbage container, he wiped his black clothes before walking towards Frances "oi" He quickly waved his hand before placing his back on the bricks "How was it? Digging inside a big garbage can with dead animals inside?" Charles chuckled at Frances before he responded "Fine, couldn't really smell it as strong as those two could" Charles looked at Niko and Crystal, they both put a bright red meat inside the grocery bag with a disgusted face. "I can smell it and I'm far away" They both laughed at each other
"what are you looking at?" Charles followed Frances gaze, landing on Edwin and Monty who both had a smile "Oh, that." He let out a sigh "They look cute together." Frances had a small smirk on her face, happy that Edwin finally found the perfect one "yeah but he didn't tell us that he and Monty got close... more than friends." Charles was mad at Edwin, not because he was jealous but because Edwin kept a secret from him. "Maybe he doesn't know who he is? I mean, he died in the 1916." Charles nod his head, slightly agreeing with the teen. "I wish someone liked me like Monty likes Edwin" Frances admitted, she never fell in love or had a lover, she was always known as the weird loner. "You don't think anyone has a crush on you?" Charles adjusted himself more straightly, looking down at the shorter girl "no" Frances shook her head "I'm weird, always been. Imagine being 16 and never had a boyfriend or never... did it." Frances looked down at the floor, feeling embarrassed that at such an age she never experienced things like others do. "Well, I'm sure someone likes you. You're pretty and smart" Frances smiled with her cheeks red "Are you confessing?" She looked up at Charles, who quickly looked away "no- i'm just saying.."He trailed off his words "well- Charles.. I think I-" Niko cut her off "Guys! We got everything we need!!" Niko yelled loudly "What was it?" Charles asked Frances "nevermind"
