𝐄𝐲𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 ; 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐫𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐑𝐨𝐰𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝

THIRTY EIGHT

The next day, Frances decided to go check up on Niko. She opened the door wide without knocking, making Niko jump from being startled "Oh! Hi!" Niko said with happiness while she held a brown box in her hands "Woah.. what are you doing?" Frances questioned her friend after noticing all Niko's posters were torn off the walls for some reason "Redecorating. I decided to not be the matchmaker anymore." She answered truthfully, still feeling bad for Jenny and her stalker secret admirer that nearly murdered her.

"oh.. well here," The brunette handed the white haired teen back the anime manga that Niko gave her "you can put it in that box" Niko pointed to the box on her desk with her index finger "Well, I think you're a great match maker." Frances said as she walked over to the desk. She carefully placed the manga inside, with the other anime stuff. 

"But how! Jenny almost died because of me!" She complained, a hint of sadness in her voice. Frances turned around, now looking at her friend "Because...Charles kissed me.." She trailed off, but Niko let out a loud squeal "Really!? Wow! How was it?!" Her mood turned into happiness and excitement after what Frances told her. 

"It was sort of a faint feeling? I'm not sure how to describe it." Niko ran up to Frances and placed her hands on the brunette's shoulder "Does this mean he's your boyfriend?" Frances quickly shook her head "I don't think so?" Her response came out more of a question tone than an answer. "Ask him to be your boyfriend!!" Niko shouted loudly, so loud that Crystal could hear them.

Speaking of Crystal, she walked into Niko's room "Hey gu- what are you doing?" Crystal's eyes widened when she saw how.. plain- Nikos room looked without the colorful posters "taking down my stuff" Niko answered Crystal with a small smile on her face "oh.. okay." 

Crystal walked further into the room, stopping when she stood in front of the two girls "so- you and Charles?" Crystal playfully wiggled her eyebrows "uh.. yeah?" Frances couldn't help the small blush appearing on her face "Knew you two would get together" Crystal added on before clearing her throat "Anyways, I was wondering if you two wanted to go to Tragic Micks? I think he can help with my memories." 

Frances and Niko glanced at each other before nodding "We have nothing better to do" Frances said with a shrug.
