JIMIN'S POV
Monday morning came earlier than I had anticipated, I was enjoying this weekend so much that I didn't want it to end. I dragged my feet across the corridor, going towards the kitchen where I could hear mum's soft humming. I walked in and saw her. She had prepared food and placed it on the table, I smiled and walked around the table to hug and kiss her forehead.
"Morning, Eomma." I said.
"My Jiminie, why are you dragging your feet like this? Aren't you late?" She asked while returning the kiss on the cheek.
"I'm not late, but I was leaving anyway."
"Breakfast?" She asked.
"No thanks, Mommy, go ahead and eat. I'll see you after my classes. Do I need to bring anything back from the stores?" I asked while opening the fridge to check how full it was.
"We're a bit short on grocery, I'll text you the list of what you need to buy. For now, just hurry and get to campus. Study hard, okay, my baby?" Mom asked, caressing my arm. I nodded like a little obedient boy with a smile on my face.
"You know I will, bye mom. Love you." I told her while already walking away.
"Love you too." She replied as I was almost out the door. I put on my sneakers and walked out of my house.
The walk to campus was very short, and I got there just in time for my classes. The lessons were educational like always. We got our assignment back, and I was the highest scorer, just like I always am. I know for a fact that this makes my mom proud of me, so no matter what, I always try to work hard and get the best marks to make my mom happy.
My classes ended faster than normal because two of them had to be canceled due to our professors being in a meeting. That means I have free time now. My mom had long sent me the list of the things I needed to buy, so I figured it's best if I just go now so I can go back home early. My phone buzzed, and I took it from my pocket to see who it was.
"I'm at the café opposite your university, come here. Let me treat you to some coffee."
My eyes widened, and I smiled while looking at the text. Okay, mom's text will have to wait. This is way more important. I didn't waste any more seconds, I picked up my pace and walked out of campus, I had no more classes anyway, so it was okay for me to leave. I stood on the traffic light, waiting for it to allow people to cross. I was tapping my foot impatiently as I waited. The light finally turned red for the cars and green for us. I rushed through the crowd that was crossing to the other side.
I pushed the door at the cafe as I had arrived, and the bell on top of the door rang to indicate someone coming in. My eyes spotted him sitting in the middle table, alone and busy with his phone.
"JIN HYUNG!" I excitedly shouted, attracting the attention of everyone in the café. I looked at all the eyes that were looking at me, I bowed apologetically and hid my face with my hand, walking towards Jin hyung, who was now standing up with his arms wide open.
I jumped into his arms, and he caught me, hugging me tightly and spinning me around. I giggled like a little baby as I enjoyed being in his arms. He finally put me down and ruffled my hair.
"Hey baby chick." He said, gently pinching my cheeks.
"Hyung, I'm grown now, so you can't calm me that anymore." I said as I sat down.
Kim Seokjin is my cousin from my mother's side. He and I were really close growing up. He's always been more like an older brother to me. He's literally 10 years older than me, but it almost looks like we're the same age. He's very youthful and handsome. Plus, he's tall and has broad shoulders. He's always managed to get girls going crazy over his handsome face.
