JUNGKOOK'S POV
I slowly open my eyes, the dim light of the room barely illuminating the figure sleeping right beside me. As my vision adjusts, I see him - the boy I loved with my all. His long lashes covered his closed eyes as he breathed softly, soundly asleep. My heart suddenly raced, unsure if this moment was real or a dream. Emotions flood my senses - a blend of love and fear, fear of losing the only person who mattered the most to me.
The person I am, the work that I did, none of that allowed me to have a partner who would mean so much to me. Park Jimin is my weakness. If I were to lose him, I would've lost it all. And I hope he knows just how important he is to me. I slowly got off the bed, careful not to wake him up, but before leaving, I made sure to give him a small kiss on the forehead, showing my affection for him.
"So beautiful." I whispered, looking at him. The way his lips parted. His soft breaths, his beautifully smooth skin. His beauty was just out of this world.
I then walked out of the room, going to the bathroom to take a shower. I would've loved for him to join me, but after the night we had, I just wanted him to rest his body. I took a quick shower, changed my clothes, and then walked to the kitchen. I started making a nice and delicious breakfast for us, some eggs, toast, sausages, avocado, and all that. Thank God for my perfect cooking skills, Jimin will surely appreciate it all.
As I was almost done preparing breakfast, I heard him dragging his feet as he came to the kitchen. He walked in, yawning and scratching his butt cheek. I laughed a little at his cuteness.
"Morning baby." I said.
"I'm hungry." He immediately said, looking at the plates of food.
"Okay, let's not give any attention to Jungkook. He's not important anyway." I said sarcastically, rolling my eyes.
"Babe, can you just feed me first? My stomach is rumbling in hunger." He said, as if to prove his point, I heard the sound of his hungry stomach, making me chuckle. He must be starving.
"Here, a delicious breakfast, courtesy of your personal chef, Chef Jeon."
"Haha, you're crazy." He said, taking his plate as he started digging in without wasting any time. I looked at him eating away, more like attacking the food. He looked the cutest he's ever been, and I'm glad he's reached a point where he's fully comfortable to do anything around me. Like scratching his butt cheeks.
"Slow down my Angel, you'll choke." I said, removing a bit of food that was on the corner of his lip. He just smiled and nodded while continuing to eat.
"Uhm... Minnie, there's something I wanted to tell you yesterday." I said. He must have sensed the seriousness in my voice. He swallowed the food and raised his eyes, looking at me.
"Sounds important." He said, now fully focused on me.
"Kinda... so I wanted to tell you yesterday, but it slipped my mind. You know, because of those unwelcome visitors I had. Uh... don't be mad at me, okay?" I told him.
"Why do I get the feeling that you're gonna make me mad?"
"I won't, at least not intentionally. So there's something that came up. It needs my immediate attention, so I gotta go fix it." I told him, he shrugged and nodded.
"That's okay, I can just go home then, you'll come and see me later." He said
"No, baby. I mean... abroad. I have to travel abroad for a week."
I watched as the smile on his face slowly disappeared into confusion. He narrowed his eyes, looking at me, as if he wanted me to repeat what I had just said. He doesn't look happy, of course he wouldn't be. I'm not happy either. I don't wanna leave him, especially not for a week. How will I cope without him for that long?
