Chapter 31 - M

FLASHBACKS OF THE BREAK-UP

"Then don't break me apart, too."

Silence lingered in the air for a while after Jungkook had said those words, only being broken by the smaller's sniffs. They stared at each other. The taller's eyes carried a lot of sadness and desperation in them while Jimin's carried pain and fear of the future. The smaller slowly extended his hand, softly wiping away Jungkook's tears. This was never his intention. He never wanted to make Jungkook cry like this.

"I'm s-sorry, I'm really sorry." The smaller said, sorrow written all over his face. Jungkook got up from the floor since he had been kneeling down, begging his love not to leave him. He then sat right next to Jimin, holding his hands.

"Jimin, you're everything to me. How am I supposed to... how could you.... " Words seem not to come out right. The taller was shocked by Jimin's actions. He knew that jimin was in pain and he was scared, but this was the least of his expectations.

"Okay, tell me... what do you want from me? What should I do? What do I have to do to make you stay? Tell me... I'll do it all, I promise." Jungkook begged desperately. One thing he never wanted was to lose Jimin. He never cared if the begging made him look like an emotionally weak man, but as long as his heart would not leave him, that's all he hoped for.

"Jungkook, I can't tell you how to live your life. I found you like this. Who am I to make you change your ways?"

"You're my love, Jimin. You're the most important person in my life. I have no one else besides you, so I can do anything to make you happy. Please... hmm?" Jungkook asked, now holding the smaller's cheeks, wiping the tears which kept falling nonetheless. They were like a waterfall.

He stared at the smaller's puffed eyes, his face glowing. His beauty shone through even amidst the flowing tears. Each drop reflects inner strength and resilience, pain, and love for the taller. How could he let him go? How could he allow him to leave? He felt like his world was already shuttering without him. He missed him while he was still holding him. And he's supposed to let go? How could he?

Jungkook leaned in, pecking those beautifully plump and redish lips, must be because of how hard he had been biting into them since he was crying. The smaller just stood still, letting Jungkook get away with stealing that little peck. Jungkook went for it again, mumbling the words please in between his soft pecks. He then placed his forehead against Jimin's, their tears falling simultaneously. They shared the same pain and love for each other.

"Jungkook, I'm really sorry to hurt you, but I don't think I can do th..."

The smaller never got to finish his words, Jungkook cut him off by capturing those lips in a beautiful kiss. Their lips met in a breathtaking kiss, igniting a spark that felt like the world paused just for them. The kiss was filled with passion and tenderness, painting a picture of love and connection that lingered in the air like a sweet melody.

The smaller's eyes automatically shut as he sinks into the tenderness of the kiss. He finds nothing wrong with it and all things right. He and Jungkook are both in pain because of what's going on. A little kiss to find some closure wouldn't hurt anybody. It's only just a kiss. Before he knew it, Jimin was pulled in closer to Jungkook, the taller having wrapped his arms around his petite waist, holding him tightly as if he were to run away.  The smaller allows it to happen, reaching his hands behind Jungkook's neck, holding him as their beautiful kiss went on.

With no intention to break their beautiful moment, Jungkook swiftly picks Jimin up and sits him on his lap, wanting him to be closer as possible, and with the shift of position, the smaller's heart beat accelerates upon feeling Jungkook's huge bulge under him. But it's only normal. They share great sexual attraction for each other. Their kiss never breaks. Both are holding on, and neither is planning to let go. How could they let go knowing they're each other's happiness?
