A WEEK LATER
A full week had passed since the smaller was caught by his mother in a very fancy car. They had never addressed that as a family. Jimin's mom always wanted to talk to her son, but Jimin avoided that talk and ran away always. He went to school earlier than usual and came out later than usual. He always made sure not to use the front gate where he knew Jungkook would always be waiting for him. Instead, he went out using the second gate at the back. That way, he never saw Jungkook. He was embarrassed to face him. So he figured it's best to run away from him.
He was embarrassed because of two things: first, they had been seen by his mom. That was really bad, but what also made him feel some shame is how Jungkook looked at his mother. He wasn't sure what look that was. Was Jungkook shocked to see that the smaller's mother was a crippled woman? That she was in a wheelchair? What did he think about that? Jimin always wondered, but he would never get the answers to his questions because he was avoiding Mr. Jeon and his mother as well.
Today was a lazy Saturday for Jimin, and since he never had any lectures on the weekends, he couldn't use school as his excuse to leave and run away from the interrogation that he knew his mom was still going to do. He woke up and cleaned around the house, his headphones on full blast so he could not even hear if he was being called. He knew his mother would use the opportunity to talk to him today, and he dreaded that talk.
Jimin felt a soft touch on his lower back, causing him to turn around. His mother sat there in her wheelchair, looking at her son, who was cleaning away. Jimin slowly took off his headphones and gave attention to the woman who birthed him.
"Park Jimin, don't you think you've been ignoring me long enough? Especially considering that you're the one at fault?" His mother asked as soon as she had gotten Jimin's attention. The smaller looked away in shame. He definitely was supposed to sit and talk to his mother. He did not have to run away like he was doing.
"I haven't been ignoring you. I've just been too busy." The smaller lied.
"Well, I'm glad you're home today. Now we can sit and talk." His mother said.
"I'm actually still cleaning and..."
"That mop and floor won't run away. Come and sit. We have to talk."
Jimin's mother stated and pushed her wheelchair towards the lounge and waited for Jimin to follow along. The smaller dragged his feet behind in shame and sat on the couch, looking down to avoid the intense stare that his mother was giving him. Ms. Park examined her son, looking at every inch of his body that was exposed due to the little shorts and cropped shirt that he was wearing.
"Are you using protection?"
"EOMMA!" The smaller exclaimed in shock as he heard the question being asked by his mother. He didn't expect it.
"It's normal for me to ask. You're dating now. How long were you gonna hide it from me? Were you just planning to show up with a huge pregnant belly so that I'll know you're dating now?" Ms. Park asked, her voice hurt and disappointed in her son.
"No, why wou... gosh... mom, I'm not dating anyone. That definitely means I'm not sexually active. I'm abstaining. You misunderstood." The smaller tried to explain himself.
"Misunderstood? You were in a fancy car with a rich looking man who's definitely older than you. Do you have a sugar daddy or something? Jimin, I didn't raise you that way." His mom said, her voice shocked and upset.
"Mom, please don't jump into conclusions. He's not my sugar daddy. He's too young for that." The smaller said.
"You're defending him?"
