JIMIN'S POV
I moved back and forth, pacing around the room with a sense of unease. Each step I take seems to echo the turmoil within my mind, the room feeling smaller with each turn. The tension in the air is almost palpable as I run my hands through my hair in frustration. The room, once a place of comfort, now feels suffocating as I try to find a way to ease my troubled thoughts. I've been staring at the driveway, looking through the window, in hopes that Jungkook's car pulls over any minutes from now, but it has been almost another hour.
A few more minutes pass, and my pacing doesn't stop. It seemed to be the only thing keeping me sane. The sound of Jungkook's car pulling up the driveway makes me quickly rush to the window. Indeed, it is him. My feet carry me out the room and down the stairs, as fast as they could. Junghyun and his mannerless friend have disappeared somewhere around the house, probably Junghyun's room. As I reach the bottom of the stairs, Jungkook pushes the door open and makes his way in. His eyes land on me, and I see regret flash through his eyes as he strides his long legs towards me.
Before I even say a word, I am pulled into an embrace, a warm one, if I may add. The scent of cigarettes is the first thing I smell in him as he hugs me. So he went away for a smoke for 3 hours, leaving me with his cousins, whom I can't even fully trust since I don't know them.
"Oh Jimin, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have left you alone here. I was just so angry, and I needed to cool my anger down. I'm really sorry for leaving you. Please forgive me." He pulls out of the hug and his hands cup both of my cheek, turning my head left and right, as if examining me.
"You must have felt so scared and out of place. Junghyun didn't do anything to you? What about Nayeon? She can be a mean bitch. Did she say anything to you?" He asks, all panicked and worried. If he was really sorry and worried, then he should have come back.
"Stop overreacting. I'm fine... and Nayeon is really nice to me." I say, no smile or happiness whatsoever.
"So if nothing did anything to you, why do you look so mad?" He asks, now looking perplexed.
"Follow me." That's all I muttered before making my way up the stairs. As confused as he was, he took steps following right behind me.
I got inside the room and stood in the middle of it, my arms placed on my waist as I took a few deep breaths. I probably shouldn't be this angry, but I can't help it. Jungkook follows in soon after, and I look at the door, signaling that he should close it. He does not forget to lock. His eyes then met gazes with mine, I can already see his fear, and his eyes claim innocence even before I can tell him what's going on. He is unaware of what's going on, but it seems he can see that he might be in trouble.
"Did I... did I do something else? Beside leaving you with them?" Jungkook asks, his fingers scratch his neck as he gives me a puzzled look, and he's clearly perplexed.
"Is there something I had to know, maybe? Before coming here with you? Like... first boyfriend? First love? Something like that." I ask, now my arms folded against my chest. Jungkook chuckles and rolls his eyes. He seems to not even take me seriously at this moment.
"What? Jimin, be for real. You are my first love, and you know that." He says. I chuckle and look at him, of course I believe that. If he had someone else he loved before me, I'm sure he would've said something.
"Oh... right. It's just... there's a... uhm..." I say, a bit embarrassed of how I behaved like an angry bird.
"What baby? Talk to me." Jungkook says, stepping closer to me with his eyes pleading. His hands hold my forearms, and he looks at me while my eyes are raised up to face him.
"Some guy came here... that mannerless jerk. Aish just thinking about him makes me wanna smack his head." I mumbled in anger, folding my hand into a fist which made Jungkook cuddle.
