3RD PERSON POV

"TAEHYUNG, BRING EXTRA PLATES AND GLASSES! I NEED TO CHECK THE FOOD."

In a bustling kitchen, friends and family gathered, each contributing to the party preparations. Laughter filled the air as decorations were hung, music playlists curated, and delicious scents wafted from the oven. The whole yard was alive with excitement and anticipation. Everyone who was present hoped the party would be successful.

Jimin had been on his toes since the previous night. He wanted to make sure everything was perfect. After all, it was his mother's birthday. He had planned everything and invited everyone whom he knew his mother loved. Most guests hadn't arrived yet, but they would soon. It was almost time.

"Jin hyung, how's it going in the kitchen? Is the food almost done?" Jimin asked, looking over the pots that had mouth-watering food in them. The smell was to die for. It made his stomach rumble, but of course, he hadn't eaten the whole day.

"I'm almost done Minnie, go get changed. You're the only one who still hasn't gotten ready yet." Jin hyung said, pushing Jimin away from the kitchen. The smaller nodded and walked off. He just wanted this to be the most perfect day for his mother.

On the way to his bedroom, he passed by his mother's room, knocking once before making his way inside. His mother was sitted on her chair, as always, looking at herself in the mirror. Jimin smiled upon seeing his mother. She was dressed in a beautiful red dress that went down to her ankles, white pearls draped over her neck, white earrings also added in accentuating her beauty, for the first time in her while, her hair was beautifully done and curled out beautifully. Jimin just couldn't believe it.

"My Queen, you look so beautiful." The smaller said.

"I can't believe you made me dress up. How tacky of you. I'm an old woman, I don't need to have birthday parties and dress up." Jimin's mother said, of course she was just saying. For the first time in a long while, she felt so beautiful, so youthful... if she had things happen according to her, she would be standing tall in her high heels, but the circumstances were against that.

"Old woman? Where is that woman? I don't see her. All I see is a beautiful young woman who looks like she hasn't aged a day of 30." Jimin compliments.

"And I'm 47 now, I don't understand if you're fooling me or not. But I'll take it as a compliment. Thank you, my baby. And for making this party happen. Thank you so much." His mother said, caressing Jimin's hand softly.

"Anything for the best mother in the world, and the party was Jungkook's idea. He said he wanted to express his gratitude to you since you treat him like your own son." The smaller said. He couldn't take the credit alone, of course.

"Aigoooo that man is a blessing in your life. Be good to him, okay? I knew the first day I saw him that he would be your happiness. I just knew it." Jimin's mother said excitedly.

"Eomma, that's not true. You said he was too old for me." The smaller said, laughing a little.

"Well, he is old for you. He's almost thirty, but the older ones are more loving and committed. Besides, age is just a number in real love."

"Yeah and and a jail cell is just a room. Sometimes, the things you say surprise me. But anyway... I'm gonna go and change, make myself look beautiful like everyone else." The smaller said, excusing himself and leaving his mother's room.

Upon getting to his room, he stripped off his clothes and took his already prepared outfit, putting it on. He wore loose khaki cargos and paired it up with a black turtleneck. He added some accessories and wore his white sneakers to go along his outfit. He then sprayed some perfume, and he was done. He got out of his room and headed back outside. Everything was now set and looked beautiful. His mother was also now outside, chattering and mingling with everyone.
