“Take a left turn here.” I pointed in the direction and Nolan drove that way. We were in the car for the past hour and Nolan was continuously grumbling about where we were going and when we'd reach there. He must now know what it feels like to receive a surprise.

My lips tilted a bit but I tried to contain my smile at Nolan's pouty lips and sulking face. Maybe I shouldn't have teased him about the surprise but seeing him like this was cute too. But when I first came out of the house and saw him standing in front of his car looking absolutely fine, I was like, Sir? No one's allowed to be that fine.

He looked ethereal in that outfit. White shirt tucked in and sleeves rolled until his forearms, exposing his veiny hands. His biceps were more apparent through the thin fabric of the shirt. And the beige pants hugged his thighs ever so perfectly and the brown belt complimented his V-shaped body. I was kind of proud that I chose the outfit. We hadn't even exchanged a word yet Nolan Gray was enticing me with nothing but his perfect looks.

I was so ready to throw myself on him when I first saw him and even now he looked like a meal. I shook my head and controlled the not so good thoughts. But I couldn't resist the urge to peek at his well built forearms. The way he held the steering wheel and his muscles flexed with each turn, oof!

I watched him as he held the wheel with one hand and the other was shoved in his pocket. “You're drooling.” I flinched, when I realized he'd extended a handkerchief towards me. An obvious smirk danced on his lips as he looked forward on the road. How did he know I was staring at him?

“No. I'm not.” I looked away once again but a loud laughter rumbled in the car. Blush crept up on my cheeks and I was beyond embarrassed. “Stop the car,” I said, glaring at him. Nolan froze and the smile fell from his face. He pulled the car on the side and turned to look towards me. “Here? I'm sorry Kay, I was just joking. I didn't mean to offend you. Please-” The color was gone from his face and he tried to convince me frantically. But I cut him off, “We're here. Our destination.”

“Huh?” Nolan looked around us and he was right to be confused. We were surrounded by trees and the place was relatively remote so a date here should be out of the question. “We'll walk from here. The car can't go any further than this,” I explained.

“Okay.” He smiled and got out of the car but when I was doing the same he motioned me to stop. Nolan hurriedly ran over to my side and opened the door for me. He forwarded his hand in front of me and bowed a little. He sure likes to be dramatic but I liked it. “Let me escort you, my lady.”

I gave my hand to him and got out of the car. We both laughed when we looked at each other and he linked our arms together. We walked towards our destination, which was just a few steps away.

But Nolan seemed to had little to no interest in it because instead of looking ahead, he continued gazing at me. And it made me somewhat flustered. I stopped in my tracks and looked at Nolan, I smiled and tilted my head to the side.

Nolan raised his eyebrows but looked the way I told him. But as soon as he saw it, his eyes grew bigger and lips parted. Well, I expected such a reaction but I was happy to see he was astonished. And besides, this place deserves such a reaction.

“Let's go.” I pulled him in front, when he was still glued to his place. He was so mesmerized by the beauty of the beach that he just froze. Warm breeze hit our faces and our hairs danced and played with it. The crystal blue water, bright cream sand and no humans in sight, it was a perfect place for both of us. Since he preferred beaches and I didn't like crowds.

“How did you find this place?” He looked at me with his enchanting eyes. His eyes had become deeper and darker and a new gleam covered them. I was happy to see, he liked it. “This is the back of the beach, where people usually are. I found it accidentally, when I wandered off from the group during our live-project last year.”
