I'll Set You Free

Chapter Three: Catching Up

As the day finished, Chan went looking for Felix, on his way he found the rest of his friends, he arrived in the middle of a conversation, Seungmin seemed very excited

-" I tell you man, they were crazy for him, it doesn't make sense" - He said.

-"What are you talking about?" Chan asked, but before the boy could answer, Jamie spoke coming out of nowhere to Chan's surprise

- "He is talking about Felix, all the girls have been talking about him, usually the talk about Hyunjin, it's annoying but im used to it"- She said looking at him and giving him a fake smile, which he returned, they weren't close, as he wasn't close to Chan, but they didn't hate or dislike each other

-"No one seem to recognize him, my friends didn't even believed me when i told them that was Felix, your best friend, they think its some sort of exchange student from Australia, i mean he did changed a lot" She said smiling

"A lot?" That not close to it, that guy left a small timid boy, he came back an angel looking like" Jisung said, he laughed, but was being serious.

Minho stood up - "It's not a big deal, long hair and blonde, that's all, still the same nerd thought" - He said rolling his eyes.

- "Why the need to be so mean?" - Jisung said, rolling his eyes even harder, Jeongin gave him a push with his arm, that startled Jisung but he just rolled his eyes again

- "Anyway, have anyone seen him though?" Chan asked, he couldn't speak to Felix all day, he was at the office all morning getting his books, his schedule and talking to the vice-principal, he was so eager to talk to him.

Everyone but Minho shook their heads, and then Hyujing stood up, face white, eyes dark, Chan looked at him confused and the he heard behind himself.

-"You looking for me?" Chan turned around to see Felix there with his bag, all his books and that smile Chan missed so much, staring at him in awe, Jisung was right, Chan thought, he did looked like an angel

-"Yes! we need to catch up, there's so much you have to tell me" - Chan said, smiling widely

Jamie said goodbye to the boys, she knew she needed to give her boyfriend some alone time with his boyfriend, he was so excited to see him, she left with her friends, they boys were also leaving, mostly because Minho said they were supposed to hang out at his house, Changbin, Seungmin and Hyunjin agreed, Jisung seemed hesitant, he wanted to hear all about Felix's summer, but he felt the pressure, so he and Jeongin made plans with Felix for another day, Minho rolled his eyes.

They all started walking their separate ways, but Felix didn't pay much attention and as he walked, so he crashed with a tall boy, all his books fell to the floor, he bend down to pick them up, but Hyunjin was already on his knees picking everything up.

-"I'm sorry, i was distracted" - The tall boy whispered, embarrassed, Felix looked up, even thought both of them were on the floor, Hyunjin seem bigger and taller than him, the way he looked at him, a soft smile, it made Felix shake

-"It was my fault, i'm clumsy" - The blonde boy said, to what Hyunjin chuckled, they both got up, he gave Felix his books, they heard Minho laughed, Hyunjin rolled his eyes. - "Ignore him" - He smiled and winked at Felix, he felt his hart skipped a beat, and he just stared as the tall dark haired boy walked back to his friends, hitting Minho on his shoulder, Felix heard him say
-"Leave the poor boy alone, didn't you had enough"-

-"Earth to Felix!" - Chan waved on his face, it brought back Felix from his dream, he smiles softly, he missed Chan very much, and was very happy to see him again

-"Let's go home" - He said, Chan grabbed half his books and they walked towards Felix's house.

He lives by himself, as all his family is in Australia, he actually shares the same neighborhood as Chan, that's why they are so close since childhood, Chan lives next door, so he went to his house, showered, changes clothes and about an hour later he was ringing Felix's doorbell

-"You know you have my keys right? you dont need to knock or ring the bell, you can just walk inside" - Felix said opening the door and guiding Chan to his kitchen -"You came all summer to take care of my plants, you don't need to ask, okay?" He said opening the fridge and grabbing some ice cream, showing the flavor to Chan as he picked one

- " I know but i just was being polite" Chan said looking for the spoons, when they had their ice cream, they head to the living room, Felix put on a movie they'd watched so many times before, they weren't there to watch it anyway

- "I'm still not used to your voice, mate" - Chan said smiling - "Mate, i'm not even used to the whole you!"- He continued, he seemed so eager - "You need to tell me what happened there? Like, what made you wan to change your appearance so much?"- He kept rambling about it -"I get the voice, eventually it happens i guess, not that deep though, god you look so tiny but have such deep voice" He laughed

Chan kept talking, and Felix just smiled and laughed, he missed this, he missed his friend.

"I went through some difficult experience over there, and you know, i made me want to change myself, do you like it?" He asked shyly, Chan reaction showed that he loved it, but his face changed

"What happened, mate? Did someone hurt you?" Clearly Chan could read Felix so easily he knew this was going to happen eventually, he didn't expect to talk about it so soon though
