Chapter Twenty Five: Fuck You

Hyunjin argued that they were supposed to pick Felix up from the airport, but Chan explained that his plane was delayed, he was coming back the next day, Hyunjin didn't seem to believe him, Chan didn't blame him, he sucked at lying, but why would he take all of his friends to the airport if Felix was probably already at his house unpacking.

-"He texted me, he hasn't even got in the plane, so tomorrow would be Hyunjin"- He said, trying to sound harsh, making Hyunjin roll his eyes, eventually all the boys left, as Chan explained he was too tired to talk, and he would tell them everything the next day at school.

Once the boys left, Jamie stared at him, able to read him like an open book, she stood still, arms crossed, waiting for him to tell him. This time he remained loyal to his promise and told Jamie half the truth.

-"He is back, he is actually in his house, he didn't want to see anyone, so i lied, it was wrong? Yes, i know, but he asked of me"- He walked towards her -"And before you ask, yes there's a reason why, and no, i'm not allowed to tell you, i'm deeply sorry baby"- He said leaning his head on her shoulder, she could tell he was being honest and not being able to tell her was hurting him.

-"Fine... but is he okay?"- She asked knowing to respect the friendship they two boys had, Chan shook his head, she worries for Felix.

-"Don't leave his side until he is, Chan, keep an eye on him, whatever is happening, please be with him"-She said and he smiled kissing her, he loved how understanding she was, and how much she cared for his best friend.

Next morning, Hyunjin was the first at school, he barely slept, he was tired, but he needed Felix desperately at this point, eventually all the boys arrived, waiting for Chan, no one heard anything from Felix, so Hyunjin wanted to know when were they going to pick Felix up.

But as Chan was walking inside, so was Felix, everyone looked in shock, he looked at them, gave them a small smiled and walked past them, they all followed him with their eyes.

-"What the hell?"- Changbin said.
-"Felix?"- Jeongin followed

Hyunjin looked back at Chan, he was waiting to be bombarded with questions, but Hyunjin simply narrowed his eyes and turned around to follow Felix, Chan grabbed his hand, the tall boy turned around looking furious.

-"You lied! Let me go Chan"- He said, pulling his hand back, Chan didn't let go.

-"Let me explain first, Hyunjin"- He said calmly, Minho walked and pushed their hands apart, Hyunjin ran behind Felix, Minho turned around to Chan.

-"What the hell was that, Christopher?"- Minho asked, he was upset for his friend, Chan understood perfectly.

-"You don't understand, Minho"- Chan said sighing, looking past him, Hyunjin followed Felix to his locker, he seemed to be trying to get Felix's attention, the blonde boy seemed to be ignoring him.

-"Then makes us understand"- Jisung said standing next to Minho.

Before Chan could answer, Hyunjin was coming back, he was mixture of anger and sadness, his eyes red, his fists clenched. Minho read his intentions and stopped him right before he would tackle Chan.

-"What the hell happened? Why is he saying he can't talk to me? Why is he saying we are done?"- Hyunjin was crying at this point, but he wanted to punch Chan so badly. -"He didn't arrive today right? He got in the same plane as you, i swear i saw him, why would you lie? why would he hide?"- He asked, his voice breaking, Jamie go next to Chan just in time.

-"Enough!"- She said pushing Hyunjin's chest, didn't make a difference, if it wasn't for Minho he would have been all over Chan by now.

-"Look! He is dealing with things in his way, I'm sorry Hyunjin but you don't know him that much, it's only been a few months"- She said, the way she did made Hyunjin stomach hurt. -"This is how he deals with things, and he needs space, you should give it to him, no one knows what's really happening, not even Chan, he is just loyal to the promise he made Felix"-She continued, she realized she said too much the moment Hyunjin's eyes widened.

-"What promise?"- He asked, now calmer.

-"He... wants to stay away"- Chan said, everyone shared looks with one another -"He knows he has to go back soon, and there's a possibility he might not come back here, so he has decided to keep his distance, from all"- He said making emphasis in the all part, looking at everyone. Hyunjin felt his heart break, why would Felix do that? he wouldn't, not after what they went through.

Hyunjin turned around, there he was, he was standing still looking at them, his eyes, Hyunjin could tell that he was trying not to cry, if this was so painful why do it in the first place?

-"Explain yourself"- He said not taking his eyes off of Felix's.

-"Don't embarrass yourself, Hyunjin"- He said dryly, everyone's eyes widened. -"Just accept that things changed, i changed. It's time to move on"- He said, he was trying so hard to sound calm, Hyunjin was too shocked to see it, Minho saw it, he could see that every word that Felix said was like a stabbing himself.

-"Fuck you"- Hyunjin spit out.

Felix turned around, took a moment, and then kept walking, everyone saw him, Hyunjin grabbed his bag and left, not feeling like being in the same place as Felix.

-"What the hell is his problem uh?- Minho asked pushing Chan's chest, it took him by surprise -"Why would that piece of shit treat Hyunjin like that?"- He kept asking, Chan was getting angrier with each push.

-"Turns out the saint Felix is the actual heartbreaker in the relationship, HAH!"- He screamed, he looked back at Chan -"He doesn't deserve Hyunjin, you two all high and mighty, both liars"- He pushed Chan once again, this time it reached Chan's limit, he punched Minho's face, now everyone got involved, Changbin grabbed Chan pulling him away, not letting go of him. Jisung and Seungmin pulled Minho from each arm. Jamie got in between both guys.

-"Could you both stop! Clearly this is nothing to do with us, is between Felix and Hyunjin"- She said looking back and forth between both boys -"I get it, it's your best friends we are talking about, but it's their life, so let's not fight between us, and let's find out a way to help them"- As she finished both boy calmed down, Minho grabbed his things and went after Hyunjin, Chan did the same, walking after Felix.

-"Do we ever get a normal day?"- Jeongin asked, Changbin gave him a look, getting his air back.
