Chapter Twenty Six: He Found Felix

The next few days passed and everyone seemed sad, the group felt broken, Chan spent most of his time with Seungmin and Changbin, neither asked Chan about Felix, knowing he couldn't really explain things, as he promised Felix. Jisung and Jeongin on the other hand, feeling betrayed, they were mostly with Hyunjin and Minho, they were all mad at Felix for his behavior.

All seven boys would see Felix in class, in the cafeteria, he wouldn't really be talking with anyone, sometime Jamie or Chan, but not for long as he would leave, Hyunjin realized Chan was right, he said he would distance himself from everyone, he did.

Even though he was really hurt and upset at Felix, he didn't understand where his actions were coming from, the intrigue was eating Hyunjin from the inside out, he would often stare at him, he would see him not eating, not able to study, he seemed tired, like he didn't sleep, his eyes dark, red. Why was Felix hurting himself like this? By pushing everyone away, why would he do this?

-"Sooo.. i asked Chan, he isn't the mood for a party, but Jamie said there would be, as his parents arranged everything, so its too late to back down"- Jisung said, Hyunjin was listening, but he kept staring at Felix, Minho pushed his arm, gaining his attention.

-"You look like a stalker, let him be"- Minho said, Hyunjin rolled his eyes, turning his body to sit properly, looking at Jeongin and Jisung.

-"I don't care about Chan's birthday or his party"- Hyunjin said, taking a bite of his chips.

-"He did invite us all, he told me to tell you"- Jeongin said, Minho sighed.

-"Do we want to go?- He asked Jisung, this one smiled softly.

-"I'm going, i'll take the opportunity and talk to Felix"- He said, the name caught Hyunjin's attention.

-"He'll be there?"- He asked paying attention to the conversation now.

-"We don't know"- Jeongin said, -"But Jisung said something that's true, even if Felix doesn't go, which would be weird considering they are best friends, Felix lives next door, we could just, show up you know"- Jeongin raised his eyebrow.

-"You think that's a good idea, love?"- Minho asked Jisung, who slightly blushed at the nickname.

-"Don't care, everyone knows that when i want something i get it, i don't care who i have to fight to get it, and if i have to fight him to get answers, i will"- Jisung smiled proudly, Hyunjin didn't like the idea of arriving unwelcome to Felix's house so he just agreed to go to Chan's party, hoping Felix would be there.

The days passed fast, for everyone but Felix, his days were long and exhausting, he didn't sleep at night, he would barely eat, even though he was staying at Chan's place, he felt alone, Chan's parents would make him food, talk to him, Chan and Jamie would help him study, but he couldn't focus, he really missed him, missed his laugh, his face, his hugs, he missed everything about Hyunjin, and having him so close at school would make Felix want to give in, but he couldn't, he had to keep his distance, it was the right thing to do, he just hoped that when everything ended Hyunjin would be able to forgive him.

It was Saturday, Chan's birthday, today Felix promised himself he would try to make this day about Chan, he would pretend to be happy and okay, just so Chan wouldn't focus on him, and worry about him.
So far it was working, he helped Chan's parents make him breakfast, they even sang his birthday song. He was acting happy, Chan seemed to be falling for it, Felix he didn't believe it, but he wanted to, just for today, they wouldn't talk about bad things, they would just act like old times.
