I'll Set You Free

Chapter Nineteen: You will kill me, I Know

The group was left wondering what happened to Felix, they were all at the park again after class, both Jisung and Chan texted Felix but got no response, same with Minho, he kept texting Hyunjin, but nothing in return.

-"Hey guys"- Seungmin said walking closer the group of friends, they all had long faces, Changbin noticed

-"Oh god.. what did we miss now?"- He said rolling his eyes, laughing, his face dropped when he saw their expressions.

-"We did really missed something, didn't we?"- Seungmin said disappointed.

Jeongin explained everything, they were confused and shocked, just as all of them were when everything happened. He explain Felix left with Matt and Hyunjin eventually followed them. They haven't heard from them ever since.

-"That's it, im going home"- Chan said annoyed, everyone seemed to think the same thing, it seem like they could do anything, so they parted ways, promising each other if anyone hears of Felix or Hyunjin they would let the rest know.

As Chan walked home he felt someone behind him, he turned around, to his surprise, Minho was behind him, did he followed him all this way? why didn't he just say something?

-"Don't punch me"- Minho said lifting both arms, Chan rolled his eyes.

-"What are you doing here?"- He said, turning around retuning to his walk.

-"I know you are not going home, you are going to his house, and i know my friend, so either Hyunjin is with Felix at his house, or Felix is at Hyunjin's house"- He said, now walking next to Chan.

-"What makes you think they are together?"- Chan asked.

-"Are you still denying the fact that both our best friends are into each other?"- He asked raising his eyebrow.

-"Oh fuck you, Minho"- He said annoyingly

-"Oh that would be nice, but im taken and not interested, thank you for the offer though"- He smirked, Chan was really holding back.

-"Look, i know Hyunjin better than himself, if he thinks Felix is trouble, he'll be there... I know him, he would do anything for the people he cares about, and he cares about Felix, deeply"- He continued

Chan didn't say anything after that, he simply nodded and walked faster, eventually they got to Felix's house, he grabbed his keys and opened, Minho was surprised he had them. They walked inside, Felix and Hyunjin were laying on the couch, Hyunjin quickly got up, looking worried, he was holding an empty glass on his hand.. what was he trying to do with that?

-"Oh god! Don't you knock?, you sacred the shit out of me!"- Hyunjin said out of air, he leaned forward, putting the glass on the table.

-"Do you know what's scary?"- Chan asked looking past him, to Felix, who got up, looking sad, his eyes red. -"You disappearing with that asshole and not answering your fucking phone all day, no calls, no text, nothing... I thought something happened to you!" He yelled at the end.

-"Hey, i'm no asshole"- Hyunjin said softly, he looked offended.

-"I think he is talking about Matt, baby"- Felix said, Hyunjin turned back, smiling to Felix, first time he called him that.

-"Baby?"- Minho asked, Chan rolled his eyes.

-"Can you just explain what the hell was that? Why is Matt here? and please tell me... Did something happen to Rachel?"- Chan said, Hyunjin heard the fear in his voice.

Both Hyunjin and Felix explained everything that happened, how Hyunjin got Felix safely home, and about the call Felix had with his parents, as soon as he finished talking about his sister Chan walked fast towards him giving a hug.

-"I can't breathe"- Felix got out, barely.

-"I don't care, i am so sorry for everything Lix, and i swear to god, the moment i found him, i'll kill him"- Chan said ending the hug, looking back he saw Hyunjin -"Thank you, i appreciate you taking care of him"- He said, Hyunjin raised his eyebrows in honest shock, didn't expect that coming from Chan.

-"What are we going to do?"- Minho asked, all three boys turned back -"What? I thought it was clear, this Matt guy is not welcome here, right?"- He asked, raising one eyebrow -"We need to keep Felix safe"- He finished.

Chan turned his head, confused, Felix did too.

-"Why do you care?"- Chan asked coldly, Minho rolled his eyes sighing.

-"Felix is your best friend, yes, he is also Jisung's friend, he cares a lot about Felix, i care a lot about Jisung... so do the math Christopher"- He said annoyed, he knew Chan would make his life miserable accepting him in the group, but Minho didn't care, for Jisung, he would handle Chan's annoying overprotective personality any time.

-"People need to stop using my name like that, i swear"- Chan said, sitting down -"If the stalker is back, you are no staying alone, i won't allow it"- He said looking up at Felix.

-"He won't be"- Hyunjin said, he sounded determined.

-"Care to elaborate?"- Minho asked, leaning on the wall, he got his phone out, started texting, probably Jisung, Felix thought.

-"I'm staying, he won't be alone, i already arranged everything with my parents, i'm staying as long as needed, Felix is okay with it too"- Hyunjin said, looking somewhat scared, looking at Chan, who stood up.

-"I can keep him company"- Chan said, and before he continued Felix walked towards him -"Hyunjin is staying because i need him to, Channie, i want him here with me, i feel safe with him, i need him"- He said, Chan seemed to relax, more like give up. To Hyunjin it seemed like he was finally accepting Hyunjin meant something to Felix, and that he couldn't do anything.

-"You better call me if anything happens, and you better take very good care of him, otherwise i- "
-"You will kill me, I know"- Hyunjin cut him
off, knowing perfectly what Chan wanted to say, Felix smiled.

-"Already told Jisung you are okay, and that we'll catch him and the rest up tomorrow, i have to go now"- Minho said breaking the tension -"Let me know if you need anything"- He said looking at Hyunjin, who nodded in response -"You too, anything"- He said looking at Felix now, he smiled back, touched by Minho's words, he wasn't used to the boy expressing his feelings and worries like that.

-"I'm next door, anything Lix..."- Chan said, Felix hugged him -"I know, Channie, thank you"- he smiled and followed the two boys to the door.

Once they left, he turned back to Hyunjin, who was standing there, he seemed so fragile to Felix, it was because Hyunjin walls were down, he seemed vulnerable because he was worried about Felix, they stared at each other for a few seconds.

-"Can i kiss you?"- Hyunjin asked, scared to give the wrong impression to Felix, he didn't want to seem insensitive about the whole situation but he just wanted him so badly, and Felix wanted him back... The boy didn't answer, he just walked fast and pulled the tall boy into the kiss.
