I'll Set You Free

Chapter Thirteen: Overprotective

They finished cleaning the kitchen and the living room, it was a mess, they kept stealing looks and smiles at each other, they kept talking all morning.

-"How are you getting home?"- Felix asked, he didn't want Hyunjin to walk alone.

-"Want me to leave already?"- Felix face dropped, he didn't mean it to sound like that.

-"No, I"- Hyunjin laughed.

-"I'm messing with you, i do have to leave though, i have dance practice, and i have to change clothes, to my actual clothes"- He said smiling, he walked closer to Felix, he had a pillow on his hand that fell as soon as Hyunjin was just centimeters away.

-"I had a great night last night"- He said, Felix could feel his breath, he was losing his -"Thank you for the breakfast too"- Hyunjin smirked.

Felix grabbed the pillow again and hit the taller boy with it, Hyunjin pretended to be hurt, it made Felix rolled his eyes. Hyunjin grabbed his waist and pulled him closer, Felix lost all thoughts, he lost control, Hyunjin was leading him.

-"I like you"- He said as he leaned closer to kiss him.

The door opened, Chan used his keys as Felix told him to, he instantly froze. He was right in the entrance, you could see the living room from where he was, and god he indeed saw a lot.

Felix was leaning on the back of the couch almost falling back, in front of him was Hyunjin, looking taller over him, their faces were extremely close, they were about to kiss, when Chan let the door close behind both boys jumped away from each other, Felix almost fell back but Hyunjin grabbed him by his shirt preventing that.

-"Hey"- Was all Felix could say, he was out of air, Hyunjin let go of his shirt and Felix walked past him towards Chan, that boy seemed angry, why would he? Hyunjin asked himself.

-"How are you? Did you feel alright? You were very drunk last night"- Felix said grabbing Chan by the arm, they walked towards the couch, Chan was still looking at Hyunjin, not saying anything, just staring at him.

-"Everything okay?"- The dark haired boy asked.

-"You tell me, you seem to have a small problem" Chan said pointing down with his head, Hyunjin looked down, Oh god, he looked up, Felix blushing trying so hard not to smile, Hyunjin turned around and excused himself to the bathroom.

-"What was that?"- Chan asked Felix, the blonde boy was smiling at him, but his face dropped when he saw Chan's.

-"Why do you seem mad? I thought you already know i like him"- Felix said.

-"Come on, Felix, him?"- They way he said him, made Felix upset, why was his best friend not happy about this, Felix was, why wasn't Chan?

-"Yes, what's the problem, Christopher?"- He said

Hyunjin came out of the bathroom just as Felix said those words, he never actually heard someone call Chan by his birth name, Christopher, Hyunjin could hear Felix being upset, he better leave before things escalate because of him and his lack of control towards Felix.

-"Hey, just want to say i'm sorry, also i'm leaving"- Hyunjin said showing his head behind de wall, Chan rolled his eyes, Felix stood up fast, walking the tall boy towards the door, as Hyunjin got out, he turned around

-"I'm sorry if i made mess out of this"- He said, Felix gave him a soft smile -"Stop apologizing, i just need to talk to Chan, he is just worried and overprotective"- Felix said, Hyunjin understood, he would protect Felix too if he could. He nodded and came close towards Felix, but this one gave a step back.

-"I can't right now... but hold that thought"- He smirked. Hyunjin smirked back, turned around and left.

Felix walked back inside, Chan was watching for him, standing up, arm crossed. His face was red, he was so upset, Felix counted understand.

-"Okay, being serious now, what's your deal with him?"- Chan asked, again with the him, it made Felix mad. -"His name is Hyunjin and could you stop"- The blonde boy said back, walking closer to Chan, the other boy didn't move.

-"I don't like him, Lix, he is not good for you, he is not good for anyone"- He said, sitting down, calming down, Felix sat next to him, looking at him, Felix knew Chan was only worried, he felt bad not being there for Felix during summer and now he was just overprotecting his friend.

-"Do you even know him?"- Felix asked.

-"Do you even know him?"- Chan asked back.

Felix rolled his eyes, this seemed useless, Chan wouldn't just give up. -"I don't want you to get hurt, Lix"- He said softly.

-"Who said i will?"- He asked, honestly he didn't think he would, he was being careful with Hyunjin, he thinks he is anyway.

-"The guy has bad reputation, his best friend is Minho, another dude with bad intentions"- He said shaking his head.

-"Since when do you judge people without know them, Christopher?"- He asked, Chan cringed every time Felix would use his name, that's precisely why Felix would use it often.

-"Could you stop using my name like that, mom"- He said annoyed. -"Look you are free to do what you like and like whoever you want, but he is bad problems, Lix, i know it"- He said, he was worried, Felix could easily see it.

-"I know why you are worried, i do, it's kind of my fault, but let's be honest Chan, Hyunjin isn't Matt"- He said, Chan nodded, he understood that Felix knew where his feelings were coming from.

-"If he hurts you, I will kill him"- He said, Felix smiled -"Not if i kill him first"- He said, it made Chan smiled, Felix liked making Chan smile.

Hyunjin:
- Hey, how are you?

Felix:
- Hii, did you get home safe?
- I'm okay, are you?

Hyunjin:
- I did
- How everything went down with Chan?

Felix:
- Oh, that?
- Everything is alright, he was just worried

Hyunjin:
- Why was he?

Felix:
- Long story...
- He's just overprotective.

Hyunjin:
- I hope i didn't get you in any trouble

Felix:
- You didn't, don't worry

Even tho Felix told Huynjin not to worry, he kept worrying, why was Chan protecting Felix? He knew Hyunjin, he wasn't a stranger, they weren't closer, but he wouldn't just hurt Felix.

The idea of hurting Felix made Hyunjin sick, he really did like the boy, but... did Felix like him? He never actually said it, did he?

Was all this in Hyunjin's head?
