I'll Set You Free

Chapter Twenty Seven: Free

Changbin didn't wait another second and ran towards him tackling him down, he was strong but just as he would get off of Changbin's grip, Chan and Minho also got inside the room, between the three grabbed Matt and dragged him out of the house, Seungmin went after them calling the police.

Jeongin, Jisung and Jamie stayed in the hallway, too scared to walk inside, Jisung could see Hyunjin's face, he was crying, frozen against the wall, not moving a muscle.

Jisung took a breath and walked inside, on the bed was Felix, he was crying, Jisung gave another step but Hyunjin stopped him, he shook his head.
Felix had a bruise on his cheek, his wrists were bright red, and he slowly sat down on the bed, crying, he held his stomach leaning forward.

Jamie couldn't hold it anymore and ran towards him, kneeling down on the floor, asking him what happened and if he was okay. So between cries he told them the story.

"After a day back in Australia, i was at the hospital, it was a moment i was alone walking around, distracting myself, he found me, he was waiting for me, he dragged me, took me somewhere we could be alone, he explained that i would never be alone, he would always be there"- He stopped to get some air, Hyunjin's was clenching his fists, ready to hit the first thing in front of him, but Felix lifted his face, looked directly at Hyunjin, the way he looked, it made Hyunjin loose balance, he felt on his knees gasping for air, Jeongin next to him to check if he was alright. Felix continued.

-"He knew i would come back, so he said i better behaved, he said he would be watching me, and if i get any closer to you, i would suffer the consequences"- He said looking at Hyunjin, they never took their eyes off each other -"He said that if i made a move to get physically closer to you, he would hurt you, that even if i talk to you, that would mean you would get hurt"- He said crying -"I couldn't do anything, i didn't know what to do, how could i not believe him after all he is done? i needed to protect you"- Hyunjin shook his head, he got up and walked towards Felix lifting him up, grabbing his face just as Felix always liked.

-"You could've told me, i would have understood and helped you"- Felix shook his head, walking away, it broke Hyunjin even more, he just finally was able to touch him again and Felix would just walk away.

-"He threatened to hurt you, to hurt me, to hurt everyone i care about if i was close to you, i didn't know what to do, i only told Chan, and not even him knew what to do"- He cried, Jamie exchanged looks with Jisung and Jeongin, signaling that they should leave.

-"He showed here tonight just as i talked to you? he was clearly watching, i underestimated him, and he was here, i tried comforting him, but that made him act violently, he dragged me here, i was not fully myself, i was weak, i haven slept for days, i haven't eaten... I"- Felix fell to his knees crying -"He punched me, he grabbed me, if it wasn't for you Hyunjin, i heard you calling me, it gave me the strength to kick him as you guys got inside"- He cried, now Hyunjin looked at the other guys who silently left, closing the door.

Hyunjin walked and kneeled down in front of him, he hugged him, Felix kept sobbing, he was pulling Hyunjin closer towards him. -"I'm so sorry for everything i did, for everything i said"- He said, Hyunjin kept shushing him, comforting him -"I shouldn't have but i didn't know what to do, i was scared for you, the idea of you getting hurt because of me"- Felix shook his head, Hyunjin pulled back from the hug.

-"Never do that again, don't walk away from me, don't lie to me, i'm here for you Felix, you need to tell me these things"- He said softly, Felix was nodding softly -"I'm sorry i couldn't protect you, Felix, i should've trusted you more, i knew something was going on, it wasn't like you to act like that, but i just didn't know what to think"- He said, grabbing Felix face, wiping his tears.

-"You saved me, Hyunjin"- He said softly, with a smile -"I think Changbin, and the other deserve that, more than me"- Hyunjin said looking down, embarrassed of his reaction, he stood still looking at Felix's body there, thinking the worst already happened and he was too late.

-"You saved me Hyunjin"- He said again and pulled Hyunjin for a kiss, soft and short, Hyunjin missed this more than anything in this world, Felix and him stayed on the floor, holding each other, both crying and relieved that everything is over.

Seungmin waited outside with the other three boys holding Matt down, the man wouldn't stop fighting to free himself, Minho gave him a punch on the face that literally knocked him down.

The police arrived, they needed to ask questions to all the witnesses, so Minho went after Jisung, and told
him to get everyone. Chan's parents saw the police and of course had to get involved, Chan knew he wouldn't have another party at his house for at least 10 years.

Everyone gave their statements, Felix was the one that took the longest, he had to do it alone, but begged that they would let Hyunjin be with him, Hyunjin listened quietly as he talked, and realized how horrible it must have been for Felix, living with that constant fear for months, he never really expressed his fear, to not worry Hyunjin and the others, he kept all that to himself, and it made Hyunjin feel so bad.

But thankfully everything was over now, they assured him Matt would stay in prison for a while, and not even here, he would be sent back to Australia, preventing him back in the country, Felix sighed and hugged Hyunjin, he felt him relax in the hug, they were free.

Felix was free!
