I'll Set You Free

Chapter Five: Coming Out

Everyone was shocked, no one moved, no one said a thing, Felix was red as a tomato, and so was Chan, but for very different reasons, Felix was embarrassed, Chan was upset.

-"What the hell? why would you ask that?"- Chan said breaking the silence, he was very upset, he started to get up when Felix stopped him - "Hey, it's okay"- He said softly.

- "Why are you asking?" He softly asked Jeongin, he was trying his best not to react, he was panicking inside.

-"Well, ever since you came back, i don't know, you seem different in every way, but you also seem even more you" He said calmly, Chan frowned at that statement, what did he mean by that? - "I mean you still shy, and quiet, but now you got everyone's attention and you seem uncomfortable by it, that's pretty much how you are, but girls make you even more uncomfortable than anything, and then there's that"- He said pointing to the direction Hyunjin left a few minutes ago

-"It's okay if you are, or if you aren't... i don't care, i don't think any of us cares, really, just you know... we have known each other for years, i think i can tell when you like someone" - He finally said.

Felix was shocked, shaking, breathing heavily, it took him by surprise, he didn't expect that at all, he looked at Jamie, she was smiling and nodding, Jisung was hiding a big smile, he was waiting for his reaction first, before making any sound, and then Chan, he looked sad, angry, but also smiled... He could tell that Chan knew this is not how Felix would have like to come out to his friends, but he guess it's that obvious uh.

-" Yes, that's what pretty much happened in Australia, i met a guy, made me realize i'm gay"- He said softly, shaking... The first one to make a move was Jisung, he got up and lifted Felix up to give him a proper hug, he seemed happy and excited

Eventually everyone hugged Felix, he was crying, not much but couldn't keep the tears in, he was happy, but also scared, saying out loud to all of them made him fear what's coming, specially cause those two aren't the best a keeping a secret, and mostly... They clearly realized he likes Hyunjin, but that's just a crush, and that's how it will always stay

Hyunjin got home very exhausted, his run wasn't hard, he just got so distracted by him, he stopped paying attention where he was going, ended up further away than he expected, so the walk home was longer.

He took the last sip of the water, he realized then he kept the bottle, his bottle... it was blue, he stared at it, he went to fill it up and left it in the fridge, went upstairs to take a shower.

He got out and stared at his reflection, why was his mind filled with him lately, like, he just got back, he is not someone new in his life, he's know him for years, just as a friend of a friend, nothing else, he's always been quiet and small, but now... well he is still quiet and small, he didn't grew taller, but he grew beautifully, what Jisung said was true, he looks like an angel when he walks, when he talks... that's not an angel, more like a demon with that voice... it's an enigma to Hyunjin. Lately all he's been doing it's thinking about Felix, every time he sees him, he just mesmerized by him.

He got his phone and posted a story, a picture of the sunset when he was running, didn't take long and someone gave it a like, bored and curious he look it up, a random person he didn't know, he saw the profile, no picture, not much, so he saw the followers, he found Jisung, Jeongin, Jamie and Chan there... wait! could it be? He asked himself

Looking further, he realized that was Felix's instagram, it had to be, and like he literally didn't have anything better to do, he just texted him.

Felix:
- Hey
- Yes, how did you know?

Hyunjin smiled proudly for his detection skills, but then it hit him... what was his supposed to say now?
