I'll Set You Free

Chapter Sixteen: Friends... right?

Felix was standing next to Chan, both outside of the School's door. Waiting patiently for everyone to get out, the first one to join them was Jamie, she was worried about Chan, she knew he could get very angry, she never saw that type of anger on him, though.

They hugged, but it was brief, Chan saw Jisung walking out with Minho next to him, behind them was Jeongin and Hyunjin. Felix could see Chan's body tense, he knew this would be difficult for him, he then saw Hyunjin, the tall boy's eyes light up when he saw Felix, Hyunjin wanted to run and hug Felix, but he didn't move, he was being careful, because of Chan.

-"Hey"- Chan said, Jisung looked at him, serious face, Minho kept walking past them, didn't stop or look at anyone, Jisung saw him walk.

-"If you are going to hit someone because they are dating me, that's just not a good way to show you are happy for me, Christopher"- Jisung said coldly, that was the first time Jisung used his name, it startled Chan.

-"I'm sorry"- Chan said, looking down, Jeongin was next to Jisung, Hyunjin behind them, this felt private for him, like he shouldn't be here, he saw Minho waiting a few meters away, he gave Jisung and Chan some space to talk, Hyunjin started walking towards his friend but stopped when he saw Felix's face.

-"Not enough"- Jisung said.

-"I am happy that you are happy, Han"- Chan said -"But i'm worried about you, i don't ever want to see you hurt they way you were hurting last summer"- He continued, Jisung's face softened, he knew Chan was being honest and he was just protecting him, in a very brutal way.

-"I know i shouldn't have reacted like that, i just don't like him, not after that"- He said.

-"You are not the one that has to like him, i am"- Jisung said raising his eyebrow -"All you have to do is be my friend and be happy about me"- He continued.

Chan nodded, he apologized once again, Jisung accepted his apology, they hugged it out.

-"Now, you have to apologize to him"- Jisung said, looking past Chan and his friends, Minho was leaning against the wall, looking at the floor, lost in his thoughts. Felix eyes widened, he wasn't really thinking Chan would apologize right?

-"Wait"- Chan said but Jisung cut him off, grabbing him by the arm, dragging him towards Minho, everyone followed them, who noticed them coming and stood straight, his eyes went from Jisung, soft looking, towards Chan, narrowing them.

-"Christopher has something to tell you, Minho"- Jisung said pushing Chan in front of Minho's face.

-"I can't believe you are making me do this"- Chan said looking at Jisung, he was begging with his eyes.

-"You don't have to do anything, i understand where you are coming from, i understand why you are so upset, Chan"- Minho said, it took Chan by surprise.

-"I know i messed up last time, i know i hurt him, i know everything, and i regret every bit of it"- He continued -"It took me a while to realize what i did, it took me a while to understand what it meant, and it took me even longer to apologize to Jisung and earn his love back"- They way Minho talked it made Jisung melt, but it also made Chan feel even more guilty than before, he seemed... sincere.

-"I understand if you hate me, i get that what i did it somehow affected you too, and i am sorry about that, i know it will take some time for me to gain your trust, but it took me a while to gain Jisung's trust back, and i was patient and got it... i can wait for you, i can earn it, and i will... It's important to him"- He finally said looking at Jisung, who was smiling widely, he then looked at Chan.

-"Would you like to say anything?"- He said to Chan, who was shocked by Minho's statement.

-"I'm sorry i tried to hit you"- He said -"I'm sorry i didn't listen to you or you..."- He said looking at Jisung -"before jumping to conclusions and wanted to kill you"- He finished.

A silent filled the air, everyone was expecting something to happen. Jeongin and Jamie were looking at each other, Hyunjin looking at Minho, Minho looking at Jisung, Jisung back at him...

-"Sooooo"- Felix broke the silence -"Seems like we all agreed right?"- He said smiling, everyone seemed confused.

-"You know... everyone is happy that Jisung is happy, everyone knows Minho messed up before and now he will make it up to Jisung... and everyone knows Chan overreacted and now he has calmed down... and we are all friends... right?"- He said, everyone started laughing, it made Felix relaxed, it seemed they were all friends indeed.
