📺⌇➴ Vox's POV
Vox had been nervous to meet Rosie because she was a cannibal, and in Cannibal Town. He had been told many things about Cannibal Town, all of which had scared him. But Rosie was nice- she was sweet and welcoming, nothing like what Vox had heard. He actually enjoyed meeting her.
And when she had asked him to talk about himself, he was thrilled.
He noticed the amused look on Alastor's face as he watched Vox talk about himself- and he thought it was actually sort of adorable, just how interested he always was.
Vox had just finished telling Rosie about how he had met Alastor, and her attention was now on Alastor as she praised him for finally saving a soul instead of killing them, to which his only response was a slightly annoyed flick of his ear. Which Vox also found adorable.
Rosie then turned back to him and smiled. "So, tell me! How do you like Hell? Got any big plans?"
Vox grinned, growing more excited. "Well, Hell's actually kind of great. I can be an ass to anyone and kill whoever pisses me off. And I love how chaotic it is!" He chuckled, leaning back against the sofa. He could feel himself relaxing even more. "And I do have a plan."
"Oh, is that so?" Rosie's smile grew wider.
Alastor's ears perked up slightly, and he looked at Vox. "Really? You haven't mentioned any plans to me yet."
Vox looked at them. "Well... I sort of just thought of it a few days ago. But it's a great idea, I promise!"
Rosie giggled. "Well, tell us!"
Vox thought for a moment, finding his words, then he spoke up. "Well, there's no real entertainment companies in Pride Ring, right? I know a lot about modern technology, and I'm always learning about the new devices as they come out. I know how they run, how to program them, and how to build them! I'm going to start my own entertainment company, it'll be 'Vox Entertainment Enterprise'! I'll run the best entertainment company in all of hell!"
Rosie had a confused look on her face, not really understanding this new tech. She glanced at Alastor, who just smiled to her. "No worries, Rosie. I don't understand it either. Just think of it as a company for- say cars, or radios. Just with the new tech."
Vox nodded, realizing he had gone on a tangent about something neither of them had known about. "Yeah, a company with the new tech. That's it!" He smiled more.
"My, my! That's quite the plan!" Rosie chuckled.
"You'll need to get yourself known, if you really wish to go through with this." Alastor said, his tone neutral, giving that 'it's obvious' effect.
"Well- I know." Vox felt himself forgetting his words, but they came back to him. "I'll become an overlord. Just like you! I'll be powerful, and all of hell will known my name!"
Alastor's eyes widened slightly, and it took him a moment to process what Vox had said. But his expression actually softened a bit- and he smiled more. "Well, I'm glad you've thought this through."
Vox noticed the softer expression, and he was genuinely shocked. Was Alastor being genuinely nice about this? Normally he just sat there, listening, and not saying anything to Vox's ideas. But now he had a full plan- and Alastor seemed almost proud.
He smiled back at Alastor, feeling himself grow happier. "Thank you. Uhm... I was actually wondering if you'd teach me? How to become an overlord- how it works and everything. If- If that's okay, of course."
Alastor chuckled. "I'll teach you. But it's a lot of work, just so you're aware."
Vox nodded. "I'm willing to do the work if it means I'll grow powerful and be known. I want my name to be known."
